Generations Fortress Maximus (pic heavy)
Here he is, FINALLY! Fortress Maximus is complete, this is a project I began some time ago and have now completed. he is designed to resemble the G1 fortmax figure, he uses the PE Warden head and also has the PE master sword.
the features i attempted to mimic from the G1 figure are
1.fold out knee/leg cannons
2.cannons under his chest
3.fold out cannon on his right arm
4.white and red city mode ramps with blue entrance like openings at the end
5.color scheme
6.base mode central tower with cannons

Dare I ask just how long he actually took?

well I received a second Metroplex at Christmas, it was a present but I already had one, rather than sell it on I decided to do this with it, I began work around mid January, so about 6 month?

I was promised a second Metroplex.
Though even if I'd received it I doubt I'd have the patience to undertake that, nor would it have come out as good. Looks tops!

Looking abit on the thin side, maybe adding a couple of backwing/cape thing similar to the original G1 design would help on the silhouette? Stellar job nonetheless!
