FYI: for me $3 covers the comic. I'm getting extra gear, and seriously I couldn't care less about the figs, as I'll likely be tossing them in the the mod box.

Agreed about Bench Press. I've already pretty much decided to get one for modding to High Tide.

The only figure from the 25th anniversary line I thought sucked was major bludd because of the way they did his arms. I have question isn't the chainsaw that comes with bench press just a recolor of the one that came with 25th anniversary buzzer and the other weapons are just recycled from other 25th anniversary figures.

Weren't we supposed to get a 100% perfect Major Bludd? He was a big let down for me too. You are right about bench press but I've only noticed 3 or 4 new weapons in the whole movie line.

You can remove the Major's helmet. But you'll need elbow grease and/or a tool to pry it and/or boiling water!

The newschool Dragonfly seems a bit small and overly futuristic to me. I'll still get it, though. Just not at $35 Canadian plus tax!

I saw some comparison pics at Joedios... way too small, easy pass.

I do think the Crimson Hydra is cool though.

No, the PIT Commando is entirely a Dusty repaint. Zartan has a different mold.

Here's mine:

Destro-with decent hands and a decent hand laser gun. No variant
Duke-with decent arms Jet-pack and Ninja sword, to piss people off.
Scarlet- with the ability to sit like a lady and a crossbow that doesn't fall apart.
Cobra Trooper- with AKA 47 and hands that can hold it.
Major Bludd- with TWO working arms and a toon laser gun.

All I can think of now.

I believe that Stress HAD to be suggesting Hasbro was ripping off GCM/R:TNG

Lets just stop all debate on the matter and say:

a) The RF Cyclone designs used in Invasion are directly taken from the "The New Generation" segment of Robotech.
b) That the segment in question of Robotech comes directly from Genesis Climber MOSPEADA, and that the RF Cyclones are indeed the same as the RF Ride Armors shown in that show.
c) G.I.Joe The Pursuit of COBRA Alpha Vehicle Cycle Armor with Ashiko, would seem to be inspired by elements of the RF Ride Armor design, as well as designs featured in Megazone 23 (aka Robotech: The Movie)(Garland Bubblegum Crisis (Moto-Slave), and other Japanese animes where the concept of transformable mecha is over 2 decades old.

On the offhand chance anyone thinks that Robotech or any other may be ripping off the Cycle Armor. Feel free to not only point out that these designs are from 1983, and if they still want to argue ask them about Wreck-gar, or Groove, or Afterburner, or Cy-Kill or Scooter

I think some g.i. joe's could use fixed hands and cartoon accurate faces. There are a far to many to name from the 25th anniversary series but sure that everyone on this thread could come up with a few that you wish hasbro would fix. I was wondering what figures people have in there sights for the next purchase since it seems most everyone has got the hard to find pitt commando.

Ditto, I caved and ordered Helix and BenchPress, so there taken care of, so i'm waiting mostly for Pitt's and Red Vipers.

I'm also waiting for a store to have an ice viper while it's on sale. for at some point I must make my Rave-Viper. Thou I still need to figure out what head to use. (arms and torso are already dealt with.)
