As much as Optimus is da man - er Bot - was it just me or did it seem like Megatron coming out the winner in most of their confrontation :-x

Megatron ALWAYS out-fights Prime, but seems to be out-thought (and out-lucked) in 96% of their "epic battles"...

...may the powers that be regarding "Good must always win over evil" be damned to The Pit for all eternity and a day!

Worst rule ever. I'm so glad to be out of the 50's-80's. I like the revised version: Rule #1 of Fiction. Good wins over evil unless it would be a better story otherwise. And man has that otherwise been great. :grin:

Would never have gotton infiltration without it.

Prime always fought with restraint because he feared for the safety of those around him. That's why luck always seems to favor him. He's just that much better than Megatron.

There was that one time when the killer tomatoes took over the world (except for the heart of Africa) and the series finished. That always made me laugh.

Prime did indeed fight with restraint out of concern for others...I would consider that as Prime being more thoughtful, rather than a better fighter....Megs is a WAAAY better brawler!

That is why he is what he is and does what he does for as long as he has done it...and held Prime at bay for that long as well (depending on the continuity, which puts it anywhere between 8 million and 10 million years)!

I am biased, naturally, because I have never liked Prime and idolized Megatron! :grin:
