in the Decepticon ranks. He despises his Autobot "twin" Shockpulse, and

is more than willing to stap some backs if it would serve his purposes.

So? They were still related to optimus,scourge is optimus' doppelganger,created when megatron scanned optimus and a tanker truck at the same time.
