Hello, I am a long time lurker, and learning customizer. Here is my take on Grimwing. Grim gets a new weapon, painted runes, painted eyes, 3 4.5 pound hold magnets in his chest, and wings he can spread! Still looking for lime green paint to better fix the wings, and to fix the paint chips on the chest. Please give me any suggestions that you may have.

Nice job there. I bookmarked this page because I bought a Grimwing earlier, but haven't had a chance to open him until now. Question: what are the magnets connecting to to keep the chest in place? Or are you using something else to lock that in?

Please go into detail what you have done with the magnets.
This is what I can see.
1. You sanded down the "valley" walls on the central post
2. Installed a magnet that connects with the screw in the beast head mouth
3. Attached one magnet each to the circular designs in the shoulders. They do not appear to mess with the beast mode, but what are they connecting to in the beast neck? Did you glue metal bits in there or is there a rod of some sort.

I'd like to know too, what did you use to fasten the magnets?

I used superglue and epoxy putty. For the smaller magnets, superglue alone can do the job, but the bigger ones are too strong.
