So I was lucky enough to find the sought-after HA Jazz at a Marshalls for $17. Bargain, I know. Unfortunately he has incredibly floppy hip joints, some of the worst I've ever seen. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know a fix? It seems to be a simple rotator joint, not a ball or ratchet. Thanks!

Without any pictures, it's kind of hard to say for sure how to best fix your problem, but I always go through each of my new Transformers with a set of small screwdrivers to tighten all the screws. I have found that a lot of times some screws are not tightened properly from the factory, and once I go through them the figure seems much sturdier. Be sure not to over tighten though, as these are metal screws in plastic, so be careful.

I have found in very rare cases a screw has been stripped from the factory. Just the nature of mass production.

If its a rotating joint with a pin(I don't have mine handy to refer to), I was told that dripping Future floor wax onto the pin and letting that dry can help.

Shame to hear though, he is a great figure.

Is it the backwards and forwards hip joint you mean, or the single leg (outwards) ones?

Yes, they are floppy forwards and backwards, they are fine outwards.

Not the best picture for seeing it but it's those joints. I would need to by a new, extra long screwdriver to take his torso apart and I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it.

He definitely is worth fixing. Maybe you could borrow a screw driver. I've never found that tightening screws fixes these problems, I've always had to add something inside the joint like glue or card. You could try putting glue in and keep moving the joint every few seconds for half an hour. I'd recommend taking him apart and doing it that way though.
