The point is that Hasbro promised years ago that they would try to get these out eventually, and now they're promising us the same about the First Editions. This is promise that they did not keep before. Why should we believe them now?Erailea wrote:Nope, 'cause I started late on Animated and didn't follow this site back then xP
Funny that you posted that Bee-ship one. I just saw it in a Japanese toy store the other day. Obviously not Hasbro though.

There are two Prime toylines. First Edition and Robots in Disguise. First Edition never made it past the Wave 1 Deluxes, so its missing figures are just like the missing final Animated figures. And the final DOTM toys are still missing too. And the final Reveal the Shield toys are missing, along with only a select few that were actually made being rejected by big retailers and so went to Market Six stores, which many still consider as being "missing" as well. That makes THREE toylines that got shafted in their final waves, and every promise Hasbro has made about trying to release them later has either been broken or skewed. Prime First Edition doesn't look to be any different, as its just as desired by the fandom as those other canceled figures were.Evil_the_Nub wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The point is that Hasbro promised years ago that they would try to get these out eventually, and now they're promising us the same about the First Editions. Well that was at the end of Animated wasn't it? Prime is just starting so there's a big window ahead for Prime figures.

They could easily release the FE in future waves of the Prime toyline since they are Prime figures.

There was a suggestion that Hasbro could release the remaining Animated figures in the Generations line, but they didn't.
And, the missing Reveal the Shield figures also could have been released in the Market Six stores with the few that did show up in those places, but they weren't either.
As I said, I'll believe it when the FE figures actually show up in stores.
