Shockwave – held by Bruticus and can mount onto Bruticus’s back to give him flight

Deluxe Brawl – new mold (CONFIRMED), worked with Shogo Hasui on designing this.

I would have really wanted them to show those energon minicons.

No liokaiser makes me sad but I do understand why they wouldn't touch him, same reason we've never had a proper Star Saber or Overlord (despite their comic presence in the case of Overlord)

Honestly, I would be just as happy with a re-release (I think everyone would, and might bring record sales if priced correctly) but it shouldn't be to hard to customize one. I mentioned somewhere else, paint skylynx as though liozak and the buggy guy are already combined, use skydive and/or airraid for arms, brawl and (assumed) technobot. then attach appropriate hands and feet as necessary you could even turn brawl sideways to emulate the original too

Just because they have no current plans, doesn't mean they weren't leaving the door open when they created the mold. It's too damn obvious. They had to know they were going to be teasing us with it.

I was there. They were talking about using the lynx head to replicate what it was used for in G1. Sky Lynx never had a humanoid robot mode, especially not one that involved the lynx head.

A lynx mode would be awesome if you can do it without combining. Looking at the toy photos it does appear that his legs can spin around so they can face forwards regardless of which head is being used.

If only we can give Hasbro or the TT guys some input fron the audience about the Baldigus/Ruination mold. That was also used with the Encore version, wish they can still fix the Onslaught shoulders and return the angled ratchets that allow the Bruticus shoulders to at least lock in place. When you raise the arms up, the entire shoulders follow.

It's frustrating that the mass-release peripheral Deluxes are so Autobots heavy, though. With the Air-Raid and Skydive molds, I was really expecting some Decepticon jets.

Cost and availability factors I'll respect, but screw purity.

Color-matching isn't the only possibility. Symmetrical combiners are gonna be possible too.

Or you can build around a theme: I've got the beginnings of a "Team Prime" combiner in my head, with Wheeljack and Smokescreen as limbs, and wave 1 Optimus as a torso. (And it's a shame we don't seem to be getting a Ratchet out of First Aid or I'd be almost there.)

Sorry, I hadn't gotten home from work yet to see the post until now.

As for a reissue, unless they did something new or neat with the deco or molding, I'd skip a straight rerelease since I still have my awesome original.

I'm a little surprised with how little we actually saw. How have we not seen Victorion completely? We've seen the two awful art panels but why no figures? No info about reissues, the coneheads(which are online at Target) no Trypticon (which looks to be dropping any second now). No tease for Computron or anything further like the creature combiners. No deluxe figure info beyond two waves of Autobot repaints. No Gnaw? Still? Pipes is a blue Optimus Prime? C'mon with that. Pipes deserves an IDW design. I was incredibly underwhelmed by Hasbro's showing this year. To end on a positive. I think Bruticus and Sky Lynx are pretty great. I just wish we had seen more than them.
