Are there no Forbidden Planet, A1 Toys or TRU stores near you? Coz you may have found that there, instead of having to wait til it arrives through the post

No, but I have some american friends. If this goes 30% off, I would ask them to be a middleman and it would come out to about what it would cost me here with taxes.
As far as I can tell, there are no A1 Toys stores in North America, and the sole Forbidden Planet store located in North America is in New York. Neither is ubiquitous outside of the UK and Ireland.Stuartmaximus wrote:william-james88 wrote:Woah, I cant find that perceptor and blaster set on target's site. Has it sold out?

That was released...ages ago. Before Thrilling 30 ages ago. Looks like the price on it is finally something reasonable at least.
Shockingly, G1 Sixshot didn't sell well for $200+

I'd buy that iced butterscotch Prime if he cost $60.fenrir72 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:2012. One year before the Platinum Edition line became a thing.Cobotron wrote:Ages ago, huh? 'cause the idjots at Hasbro miscalculated the nostalgia trumping over practicality. Despite Asia/China being gaga over G1, you can only push the price so much before you reach the "I no buy this"
Example, Platinum Laser Optimus Prime. Expensive sheeet! I'd buy it in an instant if he came in default colors. Black and gold? Wtfrack?!

Yup it was supposed to hit a month ago. There might be a problem with the shipment.

They are priced at 109 on Robot Kingdom, not bad for 2 voyagers and 3 deluxes: http://www.robotkingdom.com/a91850000g1.html. And with the SDCC vesions already being available, I dont see that much demand for these, so a slightly lower price will be inevitable.
Also, while I spy some small differences on Grimlock (besides the head of course), the deco on both slogs appear to be the same.

The irony is, you can get a loose but complete and perfect mint looking G1 6shot for less than 100$ shipped. That's the price I paid and that's the price I sold it when I realised I didnt liked him.

You didnt like him? I was close to buying that edition above for 100$ at comiccon this year but stopped when I realized he was selling for less on e-bay. I was still curious though, care to tell me (either here or in a pm), what you didnt like of sixshot?
