You've gotta hand it to them though...Year of the Monkey ties in perfectly for Beast Wars 20th anniversary. MP Optimus Primal is also slated for next year.

I dunno, the optimal o/p or cybertron o/p or o/minor (I love him), or even bw o/p would've been better, or maybe the blast-punch o/p, but I haven't experienced that one. o/o/p would fit the size class, and I would definitely pick that up.

Someone must like that mold, it fetches a decent amount of coin on eBay.

If ever there were a scale to base value on worth ignoring...
I mean he has:
-A decent bot mode (but a derpy face)
-A cool beast mode (with immobile arms)
-Cool gimmicks (except for that dumb gimmick arm)
-But an awesome transformation, I love how the beast feet swap with the bot feet.

It's better than the orange and clear from this year.

It's still Primal's head, whom this figure is meant to be.Peridot wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Then it wouldn't look like the character it's meant to be.Peridot wrote:This guy needs a new head sculpt so badly it's actually painful.
That head just looks really off on such a clearly Prime-like deco. It's already a heavy homage. Might as well finish the homage.
