What ya waiting for then, bub? I've had mine about a month.

My vote for the HOF goes to my favorite Transformer, Kup, to the Headmasters (who still need new figures that aren't just the characters without their master components) and to seibertron.com for for being the ultimate TF resource.

I'm waiting for him to show up at my local TRU like a lot of other people, that's what I'm waiting for.

A store to stock them, most likely.

I would ask your local TRU to check the computers for this item. If your store hasn't received it yet, I'd have a feeling that they won't be receiving it at all.
I bought mine along with GetterDragun at the Toys R Us in Times Square 2 months ago. Here's the Soundwaves just put out that morning before we snagged ours:

This was during toy fair, wasn't it? I remember this pic (or something like it) being posted then, and that's how I knew to get mom and sis to stop at my local TRU so I could get mine the following month.Seibertron wrote:I would ask your local TRU to check the computers for this item. I agree with Ryan. Ask the local TRU where you are if they've got it in their computers. If they don't already have it, I'd bet against them ever getting it too.

Most TRUs only got 12, possible 18 (there's 6 to a case so that's only three shipments) and then the item was discontinued.
From what I can remember, Canadian TRUs are supposed to be getting these officially in May, but I'd hazard a guess and say they may show up within the next week or so.

hmn. My TRU had 4 including the one I've bought.
How about buying it from the TRU website? Devastator is available through wal-mart.com. If I'm not able to find the set in store, I'd buy it that way.

does anybody know if the cassette tape holes
are compatible with the minicon pegs?
you can try to put soundwave's weapons in to the
holes and see if it works.
because I recently found out thanx to you guys on here,
that soundwave's fist holes = minicon peg size.

I have yet to see any of these anywhere near Atlanta. I've checked all over, and the TRU closest to me on a weekly basis. Still no Soundwave! Guess, I'll just have to breakdown and buy one online at a higher price....

What news? What reissue? The Takara TFC one has been out for a long time. He was number 10, I think. Have I missed some news?

Awesome galleries! Thank you for posting them.
I'm not a fan of the enlarged door, but I hope to get this for Lazerbeak and Ravage alone.

Ryan, do you find this Laserbeak's weapons to fit quite loosely? I've put the reissue weapons in an original G1 Buzzsaw and they fit nice and tightly, but when I put them into their intended reissue Laserbeak they spin left and right (or fall out entirely if I turn him upside down).

I got mine a few mounths ago from TRU. I still think he shouldve been painted black and red. At this rate ill never get a soundblaster. And my TRU doesnt have any more of these so i cant repaint one. Damn hasbro.
same with mine. And i also discovered that Laserbeak is a diffrent mold than the G1 version. The pegs for the legs are bigger. That and the red is a diffrent shade.

The Laserbeak that came with the one I opened is tight. Once the weapons were inserted it's difficult to move them.
