Not to sound negative about this years Botcon, but this is just one more kick in the junk---ion for those that are attending. In the past the Hall of Fame event was an actual EVENT!!! In 2010 it was a nice dinner ceremony, 2011 was the DOTM preview, and 2012 was also a nice dinner ceremony!!! Now its been seemingly reduced to an announcement at the Hasbro Panel!!!

On top of that, aside from yesterdays official announcement of the Rescue Bots guests, the rest of the guest list, in my opinion is lacking big time and less than desired!!! Botcon is my favorite weekend of the year, and I'm sad to say, I believe this year is shaping out to be the lamest Botcon yet! I realize its what you make of it, but seriously nothing about this years Botcon has excited me yet! Sorry for the rant, as I truly try to find positives in everything! Anyone else see things differently?

But seriously, Hot Shot all the way. The main character of the Unicron Trilogy. Love the continuity or hate it, he definitely deserves the fame for the years he served as one of the major characters, and definitely the poster child, of the franchise. He was rash, impulsive, even annoying at first, yet he grows into a devoted soldier, leader, and character. Being offered the Matrix, winning the Cyber Planet Key on Velocitron, and eventually becoming the leader of Velocitron as well, his résumé is nothing to snuff at.

And for many, like myself, he was a major part of our childhoods. As such, I nominate Hot Shot for this honor, illustrious or not.
