But an accurate one
"Quick do the splits to form the base!"
It was stupid with Powermaster Prime too. If you're going to add a base mode, put some effort into it.

It's more of a weapons platform/turret than a battle station.King Kuuga wrote:Base mode is a joke, I don't care if it's accurate to the original toy or not.

You can call it what you want, it's still just Star Saber doing the splits.

Does it matter though? I think there is no one out there going “I was gonna back this, but now that I see the base mode looks like it did on the G1 toy, I won’t anymore”

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

It's not a deterrent but it's funny that they're pushing it, even just as a bonus feature.

The V-Lock has to be guaranteed at this point IMO, not sure about the otherssol magnus wrote:Man, I hope those overseas orders are enough to get us all the tiers. I won't be fatally disappointed, but it will feel like a waste.

I mean, I'm not expecting any of that paint to stay. Maybe the red, white, and blue, but the gold's probably not

I imagine that we wont even get three colors on it when the final product hits. We already know Haslab will cheap out on the final product even though they make massive amounts of cash from the preorders.

I'd be shocked if we didn't get at least three cause the arms can be molded in white, the main body can be molded in red, and the faceplate is molded in a third plastic color, presumably blue for the visor, and the Brainmaster's head is attached to the faceplate. I was just meaning that I'm expecting Titans Return level of paint where details are sculpted, but not highlighted
