Third party sites will pay on your behalf and charge you at a later date. Whether that's soon, or when it actually ships, should be spelled out somewhere in the site's product listing.
In other news, the numbers for Unicron seem to have settled at 140.825% funded, which if that's exact translates to 11,266 units sold. The HasLab page is still showing double that, 281%, and I'm a little surprised they haven't fixed that bug yet. Maybe nobody has noticed it.

Still seems to be changing a little, it was 282% early this morning (around 3am). I'm surprised they're allowing cancellations, doesn't seem we'll be getting a final number until the end of the month.
I didn't want to use a credit card to pay for Unicron so I went with a payment service I've used before that was recommended by Amazon (Affirm). The total came to under $700, I still get the benefits of ordering directly from Hasbro (free shipping, earliest arrival, bonus comic), I get 12 months to pay, and I can pay it off early with no penalties and a lower final price. Almost went with TFSource or BBTS until I realized neither one was honoring their normal shipping practices. No way was I paying a total of some $800 when all is said and done, I don't care if I do have a year and a half to save.

- molded interiors for iconic brain/TV room, acid vat, pincer security (ie. areas revealed in transformation)
- corkscrew spaceship
- eye accessories (as if removed)
- poster (as shown on kickstarter page)
- actual comic (with cover shown for digital bonus)
Anyone else have any doable ideas that wouldn't blow the budget? I'd see these as very doable, since they will have to create molded design for the back of panels... or very tiny or cheap (a piece of paper, etc.)

I imagine maybe next year there will be anotgher SW crodfunded project, but I would not expect another TF one at leats until Unicron is done and delivered. Honestly, the only other possible one I could see would be Cybertron/Primus at that scale. There are already over-sized novelty statues of characters like Prime & Megatron that go for more than 1K, and the demand for these seems to be very limited.
Other than Primus, I cant think of another project large enough to warrant a crowdfunded campaign. Now if it were something smaller...Like say a Titan Class Raiden super-detailed(scaled at 18 inches to be the same size as Devastator and Predaking) for $250-$300, I'd be up for that.
Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

I think if they brand it and mention it frequently AS the Transformers home planet of Cybertron, it will help it sell. I don't think as many fans are familiar with the lore and Primus. I'd also certainly pair him against Unicron and show that as a big showdown.
After that, maybe a giant Ark playset that features the volcano and ship embedded that opens to reveal a control room on the other side (Castle Grayskull/Snake Mountain style). Could include sky-spy, sick bed where prime dies, etc. Could have some glowing or light piped magma at the bottom.
AND maybe include some orange ramps so the whole thing could tie into Omega Supreme and Metroplex and Fort Max.
Dang, I'm sold already.

A piece of furniture made to look like Cybertron? Sounds cool to me.-Kanrabat- wrote:What I'd like is a Cybertron globe. In scale with Unicron, of course. But it won't transform because in G1, the planet don't. Instead, the globe would be insanely detailed, full of LED lights, can plug into the wall socket like a lamp.
That would be wicked cool.
Besides, we are technically getting a new Primus toy in the last waves of Siege.

Speculation is fun but I fear you may be setting yourself up for disappointment if you hope that there will be additions/changes.
So feel free to spitball ideas, just bear in mind the liklihood that anything will change.

Unicron could stand on the middle of this rug while other toys with car modes could be placed around him on the rug's roadways.
