here is the robot mode, its a rough drawing but its essentialy how I want myself to look. It needs to be detailed and fixed and eventually colored but heres the first attempt.

Yeah i do a couple of pictures of saberwing if i find myself bord in class then all of a sudden a picutre of saberwing appers in my book in fact i've desiged a transformer for my brother battletron i know its not the best name but i only desiged him i could post some pics if you want.

The one you see in my sig is my creation. Fury, the bigfoot truck. You can't see much, but it was made for this forum in about an hour or so. So I just had the time to design the head and the upper torso. I might do a full view someday. What you see there might not be the final result at all... But I like Fury so far.

hell ive been creating transformers for ten years. its all i ever did in school. i have 112 creations and counting. although some are based on earlier transformers

slimmy, I hate to say it, but...um...I can't draw her. For some reason, each time I tried she came outlooking like a dude. I tried though, just proves I suck at femmes.

You don't need a sketch to create something in Photoshop. It does help to have something, but its not a necessity. I usually begin with the head, then the chest area. You just need to draw a head, no matter if its looking good or not, as a starting point. You'll have plenty of time to work on it. Its just to know more about the proportions of your bot. Then accordingly, just move on to the torso area, then shoulders and arms...

A little trick to draw straight lines in photoshop, use the brush tool. Select the size you want, then click on the canvas. Then hold the ''Shift'' on your keyboard and click somewhere else. There ya go, a nice straight line. This little trick will also work on other tools as well. Go ahead and try it. Then make us a Transformer !

actually thats not a bad way to start it but i made my transformer a bit differently, To start really you need some sort of vehicle and think about how you want it too look. A good place to start is if you see anything particular on a vehilcle that you want for a body part. Like the wheels would look great as shoulers or something and work it out from there to rough out your idea. when you get a few parts settled in your mind or even on paper you can draw up the different parts and combine them in photoshop and proportion them that way for a starting point.

You're right! I totally forgot to include that step in my advice! Its indeed the first step to create a transformer...
