Yeah, it has taken a while - the design phase bogged me down the most while I obsessed over all the tiny details...in terms of actual modeling, the stupid thing called real-life (pfft!) keeps getting in my way!!!

I do have some basic facial animation test sitting on my desktop at home that I really should get around to posting :grin:

Hey whaddaya know! People still post in this thread!

Anyway, I've been flat out getting ready to move to a new town, where I've recently brought a PC store!!

Just to let y'all know I haven't given up, here's Ol' Sentry in the new TF: Animated style!! (seems he MAY be related to Ratchet?!?) :wink:

ive got a bad srt-4 and school bus TF and ive been pondering an i idea for a 747 where the wings split and form an X and the copit to about thirty feet from the wings pull down and reveal a head,hint to a good fotoshopper

Well prime He has a retactable Spike in the Center of his palm and a Plasma Cannon like Rachts from the movie.

i just got down hand drawing my 747 transformer (jetfire is his name) but i dont have a photo copier.

heres a discription:

1. his wings form an X in robot mode
2. on the bottom 2 wing parts on the X it says S7
3. theres an autobot symbol on the top left wing part of the X
4. and the cockpit to about halfway to the wings splits and reveals 5. his head
6. on the top right wing it says his name
7. on the left spilt of the cockpit it says autobot and on the other half it says airlines
8. the small back wings form his feet in robot mode

There. I'm finally done drawing Thunderboom.

Yeah, I heavily based this incarnation on Dreadwing/Overcast. I actually like this concept drawing better than my previous works.

Yes, his battle mode head is a Decepticon insignia. The mandible-like triangles fold over where his mouth would be, and the little bit in the center of his forehead rotates 180 degrees (it's normally upside-down). The reason he doesn't have a mouth is because he's like Wheeljack, Soundwave, and many other Transformers who don't have [visible] mouths, and because of that, they are that much cooler. Since he doesn't have a mouth, whenever Thunderboom says anything, the little triangle in the center of the diamond-like thing on his forehead flashes, not unlike Wheeljack's lights.
