I always imagine my cars as transformers. My previous good car was named Snowbird, because for years I drove it to vote in the county that I had to vote in because I kept forgetting to re-register (it's supposed to happen when you shift your driver's license, but it didn't.) I've posted drawings previously. He was like Tracks, a car with flight capabilities. Black 2000 Chevy Mailbu.

Then Snowbird got hit, and we had to total it.

My interim car was a lipstick-red $700 ford Taurus. I called it Rattletrap. I envisioned it to be a transformers-version of the Alice in Wonderland White Knight, with pieces continually falling off.

My new car is a 2004 Chevy Aveo. I drive alot, so gas mileage is the thing, and I fit in it (I'm 6'4".) It was also a really good price (I've begun to find out why... it was due for big maintainance, so the previous owner just traded it in. I've had to replace the timing belt, and the sparkplugs & wires are due... overdue.

I named it Gawain, since it's green. (I know all about the story. I'm an English teacher. There are discrepancies, but it feels right.) I drew a picture today. I'll scan it and post it later. It's my first pic in the Animated vein.

That kinda sounds like what I do.

I keep imagining what our Dodge Caliber would look l;ike if it turned into a Transformers.

Well, here it is, my drawing of what my car would look like as an "Animated-style" transformer.

I suck at coloring, so I just used outlines to suggest colors.

Transformation: hood splits in 3 to form shoulders & chest. Roof becomes shield. Front doors and windshield cover back. Rear doors, trunk, back of vehicle become the feet. Sword is stored in Passenger side front & read seats. He carries a rubsign, like Lockdown, as I am unsure of his allegiance.

Special "Animated" power: The sword carries a repulsor shield which can make it big and dull, almost a second shield, or contract for added strength and sharpness for serious opponents.

I've had an aircraft carrier fella called Fathom in my head for years. He'd be Micromaster friendly, and become a large base as well as a carrier. I always imagined his robot mode as a bit metroplexy, but he'd be grays and blues. I hope I can make a custom someday.

no. the 69 was. it was actually a 70 with A 72 front end. it "only" had a suped up 350

I've done Blaster, Flareup/Firestar, Sunstreaker, and Frenzy in the Animated style.
