Please Read the latest replies to figure whats going on for recent updates :D

OMG!!!! another project resurfaces!!!!

Its not a secret that my Menasor was completly inspired by TFMaster?s work from years ago. And today here?s the update on Motormaster

Well, even though ive had this Magnus since october, today i made a real modification to him... gotta love my new rotatory tool

Basically, i cut the legs from a similar way of TFM (although it was from memory, since i was very lazy to look for the pics i have saved somewhere...), so he is now shorter but looks bulkier than before

the guns were divided since the day i got him on the mail, but until today i found a real way to use em in Robot mode... expect these to be Menasor guns of death :D

Finally, the feet are gonna be changed, either by the GFC big foot or Magnus normal ones ;)

Ok then, the waist connector is about 50% completed, right now im adding epoxy to hold properly the legs

also i figured how to do the shoulders

The stunticons are pretty much done, but unpainted yet. Still, they need a few mods here and there

cool project! I'd have to say I've never seen the loose figures of TFMs Menasor on pics, only the big guy
But darn, magnus looks pretty cool with short legs!

you know, perhaps if TFMaster still have all his pics saved somewheree on his PC, we could make a special article with his starts ;)

If not, well i have my own collection of old pics :D

Shoulder connectors are getting good, all i need to do is finish the connection to the arms :D

The legs are pretty much done, although i was sanding one of the feet connectors... and well, it was too much so i need to add epoxy

Speaking of Legs, one of the Prowls doors broke :( :( :(

Now i need to figure exactly how i can attach the hands to the arms... its gonna be similar to TFMaster?s anyway

So TFM, what ya think so far?

HOLY 69ING ****!!!!!

I made a really bad mistake while making the arm connectors... so when fused, Menasor had an insane space between chest & limbs

Now ive gotta figure how to fix this mistake without damaging the shoulder pieces... :(

either way, here?s a rough idea of how the new connectors are gonna be attached... i hope it works and i can have complete movement

Also, Motormaster new feet :)

After 6-10 months working on it, its finally merged! and fully transformable of course ;)

I still need to fix Speedbreaker leg to fully attach to the arm, but its pretty much done

Also, i need to remove every single autobot symbol on all the figures... as well add some extra details (like spikes on the feet). With luck, i might find a way to attach Motormaster legs into Defensor without further stability problems

Now the hardest part... the painting... although i dont know when that will be possible =/

Blinding stuff, sir! How did you make them attach together, and how sturdy are the connections? And any chance we'll be able to see the separated forms - especially Motormaster and Drag Strip..? :D

Not sure which, but they're 1/100(I think) Gundam model feet.

The feet and thighs are definitly Gundam, but they're much bigger than 1/100 scale. I'd say it's 1/60 scale or one of those larger Gundam action figures/bootlegs.

yeah, most pieces are from a Wing Gundam KO, i think the real one was released years ago in the US... too bad this one comes without articulated fingers :(

Either way, i think i posted pics several months ago of that KO...

Another update!

Menasor holds together pretty much fine, although it needs some tweaks here and there with the old nailpolish trick ;)

Image

I just started to remove all the autobot logos. I hope i can make new raised decepticon insignias without much trouble, using styrene

Image
Image

The spikes on the feet are gonna be sanded of course, but you get the overall idea of the look

The guns seems to hold well too, needs some works here and there

Finally, Motormaster front wheels needs to be removed while Menasor is formed, i attach em with a small clip. Now, to prevent to miss em, i decided to add em on the leg connector at the waist, with that, he doesnt look as odd as before ;)

btw, im looking for suggestions, do you think i should remove the "spoilers" from the knees? they arent the same pieces from the prowls as legs, but im not sure...

I agree with Pepie, the spoilers look fine there.

Nothing serious here, i simply decided to take out Menasor from his limbo and i might finish him on the next 3 weeks

I decided i was sick of trying to make a decent trailer using the add on pieces, so i wont bother with them anymore... sorry guys :P

He will be combined most of the time anyway

btw, i just realized how much i have progressed since i got my dremmel, at the time i last worked on him, i still was using other tools, but with very bad results... thats another reason im just gonna paint him and get done

Nice work. What are the two in the foreground there? And what did you do to Inferno for it? I'm working out plans for an Energon/Cybertron Defensor atm, and Inferno's gonna be Hot Spot. I've already got alot of the modding for him plotted out in my head, but any extra info/ideas is always a good thing. :)

thats my Energon Defensor, for hotspot basically i used Inferno?s cab, made a new support for Energon Barricade, and used a mini G1 defensor KO as base for the head/ladder

Well, over a year working on this, and is not over yet

Anyway, ive just painted Wildrider, just needs some minor touch ups and i need to choose a good color combination for the face

Ive made several changes to Dragstrip, like adding E Rodimus arms, but im not sure anymore with him...

Finally, im working on a better leg connector for Menasor, as well less heavy, who could have guessed that an E Prowl KO gun could fit so nice on his butt

Wildrider looks goooood! :D

I wanna see his alt mode! 8)

That gold there -- is that paint? Looks much more vibrant than what I get out of my own paints...

Napjr, your so cool :D

can i ask how the hip connector works, any pics, i have am idea buti d love to see it, and how do the legs connect to it on TFM's it looke dlike they screwed on,
if the hip part is an extra part left over when they are in single bot more would it be possable to make it into a small vehicle like the little car motormaster had? it would add mroe functionality to it all

good luck with it all
