We aren't trying to blackmail people into buying the Cobra its just a harsh reality of how these manufactured parts work for us, its great we got a couple more pre-orders but again...if you don't like Cobra don't buy it
All of our replies are getting lost in the pages but I hope the fans get a chance to read these responses. We read fan responses and like communicating back as best as we can.
We will reveal more about the releases if it goes into production. There's more going on than can be deciphered from the pictures.
-Yes, the red LED in the neck will still work through a transparent visor (prototype is all made from the same opaque material, it was cheaper)
-Yes, the only modification is to unscrew the existing head and yes, the hothead mounts securely.
-Yes, if you unscrew the existing head Hothead can ride in the canopy/manhole in front
-Yes, the set would be specifically colored for U. HH, if these are produced there will definitely be a recolor compatible with U. and H-KEI ONSL. we've already designed the necessary mold changes to keep it from just being a simple re-color

Sad but true. At the last Q&A Hasbro Canada said they weren't putting them in stores. Same with Nebular Starscream.
Man, that sucks. I really wanted Powerglide.

Remold? Awesome!
I must say I'm even getting amped for the little Cobra head in March. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.
I'd just like to say that I really appreciate the great communication with the fans from you guys. Looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future.
PS. If you guys just want to release a normal (i.e. non-transforming) replacement head set for classics/universe figs then I would certainly bite. There's a few figures in need, e.g:
Dragstrip
Darkwing
Roadbuster (I know Natobot of TFW2005 made a limited run of heads+rifles but there weren't enough to meet demand and he's stopped making them).
Upcoming Generations Sandstorm
Arielbots from ROTF Superion set
Combaticons from the Bruticus Maximus set (at least Brawl, Onslaught and Vortex - since FansProject will be replacing Swindle and Blast-off)
There's probably a few more too.
I understand if such a concept isn't feasible or if your company isn't interested in going down that path, but just some suggestions in case it is a possibility.

For non-transforming heads kidbash.com has some very cool work in plans and they handle small-scale resin casted stuff much better than we can. check 'em out
Their roadbuster conversion kit is really amazing and we ordered some sets for ourselves.
We've always saw a lot of potential in TRU darkwind, there's a lot of stuff to be added than just a new head
Thx again Oilspill

This is the first time I've wanted to buy a 3rd party add-on. Probably because it's the first one for a TF I actually own! This would also be my first kitbash. Woohoo!
Maybe I missed it; did anyone mention a price for this?

The same thing happened with Classics Magnus, Prime, Bruticus etc. when Fansprojects released their add-ons solicitations.

Yep, I remember thinking how unbelievably lucky I was to get the Magnus/Skywarp set for $40 shipped not long after FP announced City.
Off-topic: Is that a clip from Tekken? How do you think the movie will turn out?

Yeah, I can't see it being any better than DoA but the screen grab is epic.

I wonder if they would consider creating a HM for the Botcon Weirdwolf figure? Sure, there were only 1400 produced, but I don't think that's a problem. Most are owned by big TF collectors that would probably jump at the chance to turn their Botcon Weirdwolf into a true HM. Heck, HeadRobots could market the Monzo HM at both Weirdwolf owners and Cybertron Snarl owners. The colors for Monzo would look ok on Snarl's body. Just a thought.

Anyway I found one for myself, but I'll continue to keep my eyes peeled for some more for anybody else who might want one. Downshift has dibs on the next one I come across.

I'll be sure to send you the Hannah Montana doll you asked for from the clearance aisle of my Walmart DS...
NO such luck on finding any Hardheads though.

Me too. That's why I'm happy about the talk of this stuff happening. Hope these two end up happening, because I really do like these better than the snake.

My vote for the HOF goes to my favorite Transformer, Kup, to the Headmasters (who still need new figures that aren't just the characters without their master components) and to seibertron.com for for being the ultimate TF resource.
