Forgive the bump here, but has anything new been said about this product? Last I heard from Headrobots they were working on Gyro, but no update whatsoever on this head despite the slated release date.

There are two Blood products. The one mentioned in this thread is for the ROTF Nest voyager Bludgeon figure. BBTS still has it for a March release so we will see if it ships soon.

The DLX Blood that goes along with Gyro is for the deluxe bludgeon (wreckage repaint) in the Masters of Metallikato set is also still on but there is no firm release but Headrobots have said it will be a mass release. It will probably be after the Gyro release which is around Botcon.

Any idea when Head Robot stuff will ship? I know on bbts and TFSource it says March, but just wonder if anyone heard anything or got their upgrade early.

I posted a question on their site asking if March was still gonna see the release of the Blood the dark warrior kit and it has been "awaiting moderation" for almost 2 weeks now....I remember waiting longer than initially stated for the Hothead set though so Im not surprised.

All we really know about the deluxe release is that it is supposedly going to be a mass release.

BBTS has moved the date to April...but I doubt it will hit that. We still have yet to see any pics of final product.

I have also been waiting for the Blood, the Dark Warrior set for ages. It almost seems as if Headrobots has folded and disappeared as there hasn't been any news from them for months on anything.

They just recently released a repaint of their Hardhead set as a con exclusive.
This will come out eventually.

Not quite yet they haven't. It's the TFCon exclusive this year.

I had to plead with them to cancel part of the order that I had preordered with this, as it had held up dispatch of that order for months. :BANG_HEAD:

Not impressed - gonna be more careful buying such accessories based on prototype pics from any of the smaller 3rd party companies - and I was really looking forward to this! :BOOM:

What the hell is the big holdup with this set?!? They seem to be more bothered prepping repaints for Botcon, SDCC and such.

I'd say that is exactly what the hold up is. Repaints to bring in more revenue.

It is a bit annoying to promise something and then go "oh hey but we have this!" and just ignore the rest.

By the time it does finally arrive I'll be stuck looking at my credit card bill and going "where did this come from?"

Sure, yet I just can't understand Headrobots' marketing strategy...
I mean, Hothead was a great product, and I think its repaints would have sold better if they weren't all exclusives. For instance, I live in Europe and would have bought them gladly if they were available through say Kapow-toys or Robotkingdom, but as American online retailer exclusives they were out of my range. Would I have bought IDW accurate Hardhead? Probably yes, but the shipping cost was too much. Would I have bought Stronghold? Hell YESSSSS, but not at 40USD plus shipping from Canada...
The same goes for Whirl...
And as for Blood/Bludgeon, I preordered it in December and had to cancel it in May because it was holding back a huge preorder of mine.

So my point is: I know Headrobots is probably a small company, that probably they are having trouble finding retailers for a proper distribution, but if they are planning to get funds through they're repaints, why don't they make them accessible to people who want to buy them?

Seems I'm a little late to the party, but have just ordered a ROTF Voyager Bludgeon and did a search for the upgrade kit on eBay, however cant find anything but the Skeletor version, anyone know where I could find one?
