It looks nice, but I don't have the base mold for this. Still eagerly awaiting Darksol.

And that Black Zarak upgrade (really hope you guys change your minds about not making that).

Thanks for the tip.
That vortex is still available on clearance on BBTS, so I grabbed one and put it on my PoL.

Without that I would have skipped this set, as I don't think Tomahawk quite works properly, and I'm not a big enough fan of the character to bother doing a repaint.

Yeah, I also picked up the clearance Vortex for this set because I think it works better on that scheme than it does on Tomahawk. Bonus usage: GDO Springer can have some real feet!!! :KREMZEEK:

*edit* and then I realized that the skis attach to the new feet. Well, if history has taught us anything, it's that HR will probably make a set for Springer. But I hope they change up the assortment, because Springer doesn't need skis! Maybe some blasters instead of gattlings?

Darksol- isn't that the upgrade for Mindwipe? If it is, I'm waiting for that one too.....

I pre-ordered it. I was one of the ones who bought Vortex at $40 when they first announced this set. So Im kind of bummed to see it's only being released in black and not a blue version. I guess it will go on my Tomahawk and Ill keep my Vortex free in hopes of the Renderform G1 Vortex kit.

This kit looks really nice...but Tomahawk is black. Whirl is blue. See my dilemma?

I'm really curious why Hasbro hasn't jumped on some of the most obvious repaint opportunities lately.

I used Skyhammer for Whirl, because he's kinda blue already. But the parts in this kit do look very nice indeed. Shame about the colour.

Same here! I have both and they would look really awesome with those upgrades. I gotta say Headrobots does a pretty freakin sweet job! I love the hothead upgrade for my Hardhead.
