Yeah, if he had had them in the show, he might not have come off as a joke
Or maybe he would have been shown up by them, resulting in poor Megs still getting underwhelmed![]()
Seriously, he should've shown up, punched a hole through strongarm, beaten the others to within an inch of their lives, then punted clampdown, as an afterthought, while leaving, then set what was left aflame and teleported somewhere to begin his evil plan
Well I guess we know what you think of Strongarm and Clampdown huh?![]()

Well, not them specifically, but you get my point, there is a way to create a fearsome villian, and then there is setting him up to be a joke

Very Very true. Prime Starscream for example

Yup, I knew from the moment they were introduced, soundwave was the one to be feared, starscream, not so much

To me, soundwave proved himself when he beat down airachnid. that was pretty boss

It's because of the way that they built him up. From the moment he appeared in the show, every time he is assigned a task, he does it without fail, so that by the time he starts doing things later down the line, you already know that he means business, and will succeed in his mission - that he absolutely destroyed his opponents in the process was just a bonus

In a way I find it very disappointing how the characters die. the only permanent autobot death was at Starscreams hands and the other temporary ones were at Megatron or the ships cannon. and then Megs and Skyquake died by Bee, Makeshift by Wheeljack, Hardshell by Miko, Dreadwing by Megs, Airachnid Silas and Breakdown. Bee and wheeljack were the only ones to actually kill someone not a vehicon on screen. Sad really when you look at the others. Soundwave didnt even kill someone! come on!

Just the state of our culture today, compare that to BW, that was a gruesome show by todays standards, and would not have made it past network censors. But there was a disconnect, where you knew it was a show - about toys, but it still conveyed how horrible war actually was.
The writing was impeccable, you felt hurt when a character got hurt (except maybe waspinator) and you were broken-hearted when a character died. And while the beatings were terrible, you eventually understood that, as robots, they could repair themselves, but it still didn't lessen the overall effect of the violence.
Pretty sad, if rid didn't have such colorful characters, I'd say it was even more of a joke than prime.

Not joking here, everytime I watch "Code of Hero" I cry when Dinobot dies. I just can't help it

Yeah, the feels are real, but I giggle when I see they use the wrong rattrap model at the end

Either way, gorgeous work man! It looks totally badass! I love heads that don't really look like heads. It adds to the aggressiveness of a kickass mech.

Yeah he does![]()
As for the head, it took a while, as - being bionicle - I could've used a mask, none scaled with his body, so I had to do some hardcore improvisation with Sidorak's head design

It was a struggle all the way

All I can say is, you've got a really good eye for this stuff. And way more self-discipline than I do by far. I've currently got 4 open custom projects, all of which are in various stages of completion, and sitting inside transparent takeout containers for years waiting for me to complete them.![]()
And given how I'm now way too busy to even watch TV, said customs might remain in those boxes for a few more years to come.

Hellscream9999 wrote:Yeah, I started The Fallen God around 8pm one night about 5 years ago and worked 'til 4:30 that morning, and had the rest of the frame finished by midnight that same day, then it took about a week to fill out the rest of the body, do clearance checks, stability checks, integrity checks, etc.
I mentioned earlier that I binge-watched all of ncis in a week or so to make the Draco-Legion, and binge-watched the ridonculous race to make the Heavenly-Bull-Armor (that one was evil hard, you have no idea) I'll usually end up spending upwards of 16-18 hours a day working on these things, so I run through stuff pretty fast to occupy my time while building
