Hey all, I don't want to count my chickens but I've hopefully got my hands on a second Beast Wars Optimal Optimus after buying my first second hand in a collectors store. My first one was beaten up and missing a lot, but the new one should be pretty complete. If I get the shiny new second one for display that means I've got a spare for kitbashing ^^

So, my question is, what do I do with it?

I mean there's obviously Organic or Transmetal Beast Wars Primal, Optimus Prime, Primal Prime(meh...), and possibly even (end of)Beast Machines Megatron, but they all seem a little bland.

I kinda want to hollow out the chest and turn it into a Quickstrike suit, but I can't be bothered to find him cheap on ebay.

Anyone have any ideas?

Does anyone know if Quickstrike would fit inside Optimal Optimus's chest area?
If you removed the jetpack/cannons and Monkey head, would he sit nicely inside the figure?
I haven't got him so I've no idea.

I'm not sure but it looks like he's small enough to fit.

How about Apeface. I have a KO that I've taken apart for this. I'm going to keep the ape head and I'm using a mini-con to try to make a headmaster. I wish I could come up with a way to fit the headmaster into the jet mode to pilot it.
