Greetings, all!

I just bought a deluxe ROTF Sideswipe figure, and while I enjoy the awesomeness of the toy and the slickness of the car mode, it seems that my Sideswipe is currently locked in robot mode, and I'm unable to get him back into the car mode.

The problem is that I can't un-hook the chest area of the robot. When I transformed him from the car mode, I fold it to connect the upper and the lower part of the chest (step 5 in the instructions), and securely locked the little hook with the hole together - and now I can't separate 'em off.

Do I just pull it really, really hard? Coz everytime I want to do it, it feels so secure and tight, I afraid it might snap and break if I continue trying. Can anyone tell me how to do it properly? Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem with my figure and heres a solution that I tried and worked:push your thumb slightly inward on the "stomach" piece just below the chestpiece then push downward.This will unlock the clip from the hole without breakage.Whatever you do,do not pull on the clip because as you said,it will break it off.

Thanks for your reply! It's not working for me, though. Did you mean the black stomach on the figure? I tried to push it as hard as I can but it's not moving at all #-o

You will probably have to push really hard while pulling his chest up. Honestly, I have just had to use force with my Swerve figure a few times. My Sideswipe has the opposite problem-it won't stay attached.

This happenes to me too, but all you got to do is push, then pull hard, it works for me.

push like a woman giving birth, better to have a figure like this than one that doesn't click in, your can loosen in time !!! I know how you feel bout breaking it but these are good plastics so i wouldn't worry too much bout cracking it.
