The WWI version has a brighter & deeper green, like a forest green. The purple of the legs is brighter. Then there's the blinding hot neon pink detailing. It's overall just garish. Like Sixshot in a bad technicolor.

It seems like this project has moved to the forefront for Masterminds... Which is fine with me because it is absolutely epic. However, I wish the "Cyclops" (Hearts of Steel Shockwave) had made it into production. Has anyone heard any news about that one?

OMG! I WANT BOTH! GIVE THEM TO ME NOW!
But if I had to choose, definitely the first one. I like the toy/anime colors better. Though I do like how the second one does have a little bit of a War For Cybertron look, that can all be done to the first one aftermarket. Just give it a black wash and add some bright purple paint. Very easy customizing work.
Oh, and if he's already coming with swords and shurikens, that would make it that much easier to do a Shadow Maru repaint/remold. Not to mention the Greatshot repaint/remold, ofcourse. Oh, and there's a ghost repaint coming? And a Shattered Glass version?! Oh, please, if you're looking for a color scheme for that one, look no further! Canadian Sixshot, eh?

I WISH! Been waiting for that guy forever. I'd been hoping Shockwave (following Prime) would have led to a breakout of Hearts of Steel styled third-party figures. To the point that we'd see loved names with imagined styles that were never featured in the short run of IDW comics...not that there aren't plenty of things to cover from the comics as well though.

Well if you look carefully on the image, there are two more colourschemes: Ghost and Shattered. It wouldn't surprise me if one of these was Shadow Maru.

I believe shockwave is due around christmas while sixshot is due next spring. They also mention on facebook that they will have two lines going. Knight Morphers for steampunk HOS style and the Reformatted line for G1 lovers.

If you go to their Facebook page ig says preorders should start around October an be available by December

I was just looking at them again, and I just noticed where it says "Terminus Hexatron" it also says "Grandus Hexatron"(Greatshot) and "Shadow Hexatron"(Shadow Maru). So excited! Hope they do a Nemesis version too!
