Help Picking TFs by scale

Hi guys, I'm trying to assemble a team of TFs that will be (approximately) in scale and I need some help. I need post-G1 figures who's vehicle mode would be approximately in scale with delux Classics Prime. It doesn't matter what faction they are as they will be repainted. I'd like them to be delux or voyager but other suggestions are welcome. I'd like a helicopter in there too but it probably won't happen. I think militaryish vehicles would be best.
So please, those of you with more TFs than me who have been collecting more regularly than me, help me out!
EDIT
The same question but using Voyager Prime.

Just to be sure, by Deluxe Classics Prime you mean him?:

He's realy hard to scale to, because he's very long, but his cab is really small.
For cars your are going to be limited to Scout vehicles. For Helicopters, look into Voyager ones if your looking for larger military ones.
Cybertron Clocker should scale well with Deluxe Prime, as well as maybe ROTF Breakdown.
What alt modes are you looking for other that choppers?

The Evac mode is pretty darn close to scale with Classics Prime, vehicle mode wise - IF you assume his cab is what you want to scale to and not his length.

Yes Overcracker, that's the guy. I know he's too long but I'd go by cab height.
Breakdown won't show up in the UK for months, if ever, so he's probably out. Clocker is too Cybertronian. I'm open minded about other vehicles but I want them to be earth vehicles.
I'm using Universe Dropshot but now I'm thinking he'd be better in scale with Classics Voyager Prime. What do you think? If I go with voyager Prime then I certainly have more choices...

Yes, I thought so. Hate the bot mode but maybe I'll have to settle for him. If I go with voyager Prime I could use voyager Blades/Springer but other than that I don't know of any choppers. Movie Blackout is too small.

Try Cybertron Overhaul, or his movie repaint.

You have just destroyed much of my faith in your judgement - Evac has one of the the best bot modes of any 'Copter former, and in general simply an outstanding bot mode, IMHO.

Strong Arm looks quite good. Is he a scout class?
BTW I've edited my first post to open this question up to include Voyager Prime. So, any good voyager tanks? Not Bludgeon, he'll never get to the UK

Yes he's an Omnicon form that series which were basically Scout classed, and he's a very cool looking Jeep, to boot. He's also been repainted like 5 different times, so you should be able to get at least one version of him.

I'd say it's Cybertron Evac, the movie one is too small.
Personally love the Evac mold - hope that it's used if Timelines (Elite Guard) Over-Run is ever released.
Lot easier if you use Voyager Prime - do you have him, or just the deluxe?

I have both.
Cybertron Evac, now that's a decent looking figure. Is it delux or voyagers?

According to the box Cybertron Evac is a Voyager.

Ok, I've decided to go with Voyager Prime. My questions now are:
1) will Cybertron Strongarm go with him or should I get Universe Hound?
2) If I can go with Strongarm, what repaints are there?
3) Has Cybertron Evac been repainted? If so, what are the names?
4) What other vehicles, possibly military, are in scale with these?

Universe Springer and Blades are the only two repaints so far.

I'd go with Universe Hound, simply because he's 10x better than Strongarm, IMHO.
And, erm... you mean Energon Strongarm, right? http://www.tfu.info/2004/Autobot/EStron ... ongarm.htm

Line up so far is going to be:

Voyager Classics Prime (or repaint)

Universe Blades (or other repaint)
Possibly Movie Landmine (or repaint)
But I still need at least one other. Maybe some sort of voyager, possibly a tank. Come on guys! We're nearly there!

To an extent.
As for tanks... Well, fitting in with Voyager Prime, I'd say the best ones would be Voyagers or Ultras, actually. Specifically Cybertron Defense Red Alert and CD Scattorshot, and their various repaints. It should be something visibly larger than Voyager Prime's vehicle mode, but not THAT much wider - most can fit on city streets within one lane, or only barely overlapping the next lane.

I can't use Scattershot as I have his repaint already and I'm determined not to have repeated molds. Pretty cool figure actually, I like him more than expected. Looks like I'll have to go with Red Alert although I'd prefer a more tank-like tank with a gun turret.

In that case I'd suggest Leader Brawl, but he actually might be TOO big.
The CD Hot Shot mold might have been decent if it wasn't a Deluxe.
Looking at TFU... I really don't see a "realistic" type tank in Voyager or Ultra, which would be about the right size. Animated Shockwave would make a decently sized 'sci-fi tank', however.

Brawl is way to big. And the wrong aesthetic. Landmine can be passed off with his zombie-like appearance by having the bio of being a bit cannibalistic and poaching body parts from the battlefield for his own upgrades and experiments whereas Brawl is just too 'messy' and big.
CD Hot Shot was repainted as Road Buster wasn't he? I thought that was Voyager. I was considering him but turned him down for the same reason as Shockwave, who is an interesting idea but I think CD Red Alert will suit my purposes better as he has waist articulation and is long and thin(ish).
My actual plan is this:
a fourteen inch tall gestalt featuring:
Voyager Blades as left arm
Ultra Red Alert as right arm (the rocket might be converted to a gun for the gestalt)
Voyager Nemesis Prime as the shoulders and head
Voyager Dropshot as the stomach, hips and upper legs
Delux Hound as left lower leg
Delux Landmine as right lower leg.
As yet I have no idea where his hands will come from but apart from those and his joints there will be no extra parts or kibble. I've wanted to make a combiner for so long and now it's tantalisingly close. I've ordered some of them and am hunting down the others.

So basically an Ultimate Combaticons type, eh? In that case I might actually suggest Energon or Movie combiner Onslaught instead, that missile pod would make an EXCELLENT foot.

a fourteen inch tall gestalt featuring:
That figure would be good if he wasn't too similar to Dropshot and too small. But I shall bear him in mind if I go back to the idea of using Classics Prime for a combiner!
Originally I just wanted to make a combiner using whatever vehicles I could get that were in scale but as it's turned out, yes, it will be 'neo-Combaticons'! The Prime mold with the smokestack-gun-backpack gimmick even vaguely resembles G1 Onslaught. If I used delux Prime and delux Tank Megatron with Energon Barriade/Onslaught it'd cool but then I'll want a delux helicopter. No chance of using a space shuttle cos it'd just be WAAYYYYY too big as I want it in scale.

Blades came the other day. He's a pretty decent figure in his own right but I'm going to have to make quite a few changes to suit my purposes. Still waiting for Nemesis Prime, another Landmine (I have one but he's all painted and battle damaged on my Movie shelf and I want to make some cosmetic changes to the combining one) and Red Alert.
