Hey everyone!
I would like some help in trying to remember what a toyline was called, and if anyone has encountered it in the past.
It would be mid-1990s to late 1990s, at least in Europe.
I cannot remember the name, nor the manufacturer. All I know is that they were sold as packs of cars that could combine into robots/monsters. They didn't have a robot mode, just the combination gimmick (and were pretty loose, as the linking parts were small pegs).
Any idea?

Definitely not Power Rangers.
The one model I used to own had a Dodge Viper-esque sports car as the head, the bumper became the mouth, the car seats rose up behind the windscreen to form ears, and the rest just folded at a right angle a pegged into the main torso car.
I seem to remember that they had no actual feet or legs, but a unipod of sorts.
I've been looking for images all over the interwebs, but to no avail.

I just found something!
It was thread by Dead Metal, on here, and the line is called Autotech, by a Spanish company only selling in Europe.
This was the guy I was thinking of (second to last on the right, all five on the right are from the same line):

They have some here, too: http://www.tons-of-toys.com/transformables-gobots_c93

I remember this.
It was called "Autotech", and the announcer on the adverts proudly declared they would combine into one big "Auto-Bot".
I remember wondering how they got away with using the word 'Autobot'.
I believe it was Famosa who made them.
