Hello all, my name is Ahmad. Just registered to these forums ask for some help.
Was going through my old toy collection while visiting my parents (used to collect Tranformers big time in the 80's) and came across these 2 figures.

Neither of them have any dates or manufacturer stamps on them. Not sure if they're bootlegs - its possible I got them as a kid growing up in the middle east.
Both of them "transform" into other things. They're very small about 2.5"-3" tall.
Anyways, any help would be appreciated! They look like Transformers, right?
Thanks!
Ahmad

Hmm... I don't remember their names, Ahmad, but these guys are definitely Go-Bots. I remember my kid brother having them as a child. However, the lack of markings would make me believe that they may be knock-offs. Hope that helps

...back in my day, you had one alt-mode. ONE! Articulation? why, if you had enough articulation to transform, you had plenty. And if you wanted more articulation, you know what you did about it? NOTHING. You transformed, stood there with your faceplate closed, and your optics sharp, just like everybody else who didn't have ball-jointed this, and swivel-jointed that. And when your were told to, you transformed and rolled out! ...And another thing...

Thanks for the reply Fuhzi...I went through a bunch of the photos of Go-Bots available online but couldn't find any matches. They do look similar in overall design though...
Everyone seems to say they're a poor man's Transformer heheheh
Any chance that these are knock-offs of the micromasters series of transformers?
Thanks again.

Those re definitely them thanks! It does seem weird though that the catalog lists them as Bandai products...shouldn't there be a stamp on the figures?

Actually mine definitely has to be some lame knockoff...check out this Dozer I found online. The colors on the chest sticker are different, the leg stickers are pointing in different directions, the hands have actual holes in them whereas mine are filled in,

It's possible. But the colors might have faded, or they could be variant stickers. You, or someone else, may have applied them upside down. As for the hands, it looks like from the photo that there were guns in the hands at some point, and then somehow the handles got snapped off inside the toy... I've had that happen to me a few times.
Or it could be a KO. I'm not a Go-Bot expert
