I never got the Henkei version, but I did get the BotCon version (my first one, thanks CP for convincing me to go ) so I have a blue one, at least. As much as I love that one though, the black they used on the Hasbro version just does it for me hardcore. Unfortunately neither of the previous versions have any real black to speak of outside of the head, and it really makes a spectacular difference for the character.

I know you've already made your decision, but if you find yourself with an extra $12 (for a deluxe nowadays? Still can't get used to that...) I highly recommend getting Generations TC anyway. They're different enough you can repurpose one, or have two representations from different time periods or something, and I think once you have both in your hands you'll really appreciate them.

Be careful, though. Once you go black, you never go back~

My GTC's optics is kind off "crying" with red paint. Minor QC but overall a well made product. Now all I need is a re-issue Skywarp mass produced and I'll be a happy seeker collector.

Btw, I skipped on Acidrain/storm. The color really turned me off (makes me wonder where Hasbro sets their priorities..........an obscure character as a mass produced release or a very well known vandal/prankster Skywarp as a two pack?)

My favorite is the Generations. Had the Botcon, sold it and bought Generations plus several other figures. Never had nor wanted the Henkei one. Don't like the chrome, price and qc issues on that one.

I'm happy with Generations.

Takara's QC is a bit worse: two of the same limb or weapons not pegging in properly is common wth Henkei TC.

Mine did have the weapons not pegging issue. Ironically I solved it by buying a CHMS KO TC and it's weapons fit like a glove.
