Before I thought Starscream's face looked like a bug. Now that it's close up I can see they were going for some kind of bird look with a beak and round head and all. To me it looks like an owl. Or maybe just a giant robot chicken.

Okay, wait what?...anyway on a second note. I also hate how people think that not one other person can design a better looking transformer. I mean really, come on! They don't have the only people on the planet who can design transformers working for them. There are far more talented people around the world.

Megatron looks mad at someone for throwing that blanket on him, and I HATE this hair thing! Otherwise, these are awesome, but kinds stylized oddly.

I imagined the cop eating a donut and crumbling all over barricade in the inside, so he just transforms, and you see the cop getting grinded and crushed until the head of barricade pops out, and you see the badge appear for his mouth with a bloody frame around it....

Obviously ancient cybertronian symbols play no part in this film by the looks of things. IMO Last film, the designers felt they needed to highlight a plot point by Branding all the bots heads. I wasnt such a fan but design arguments aside, these look less cluttered, more simplistic and generally more pleasing.

The more I see of the wreckers, the more Im liking them too.

See, now that's good. You're very TALENTED! I can see his nose and his mouth. It looks like you put time and thought into this, unlike SOME of the movie faces. I really hate when dumbass people always say, "I'd like to see you do better." They think only the best work on these films when in reality they don't always have the best. I try not to get too upset with them because I know they are uncreative and simple minded people. Good job man!

Lol, from the mouth of an 11 and 9 year old transformers fans after seeing these new head designs.

"Some of these designs look as if paint was put on the buttholes of the artist, then they farted on blank paper and voila, transformers!"

Bottom line — Sure, these are excellent designs... for a kid movie. I'm sure my proverbial 2.5 kids will laugh and have a good time. But sadly, the designs kill the suspension of disbelief that these could be ACTUAL alien robots from outer space... I'm just going to psyche myself up as if I'm going to see "Cars"... or a comedy.

Really nice job, MINDVVIPE. I wish I was seeing some more of that kinda thing in the movie... or like the G1 Wreckers. Something I look at in the face and say... this guy is a bad@$$.

As PG-13? I have my doubts that this will be a kids movie. They might get scared and cry leaving well then again I saw the 2007 movie at 10...What were we saying again?

Oh yes, the headshots. Yeah Mudflap's stll looks creepy, Barricade looks like he ate a yummy cop, and Roadbuster looks like a smoker. Well I'm sold on these toys, wait, nevermind for Mudflap. Don't want that creepy face staring at me at night O_O

I like probably more about the franchise than most people and am tolerant of lots of things I may not necessarily enjoy a great deal in it. Yea, not to boast, but that original movie Topspin just looks ridiculous, close to the paint farts mentioned... But I took some parts of it and included it into my design, as well as kept it still G1 ish... I love the slice down the middle... why does it all have to be so overly teched out? having both looks so much more badass, coz it allows the technical part for the moving parts for facial expressions, and the rest for armour and critical systems casings.

Im a fan of the two movies. 1st one more than the 2nd, and absolutely hated the Arcee Triplets. Does that mean I'm a G1-Boi? Well, No, but I am a fan of G1. I enjoy every continuity, and I wont like everything about it.

Okay, why do you guys want it to be Thundercracker? I mean, the guy didn't have that much screentime/dialogue in G1, and since then he hasn't been in any show at all.
(Yess, Starscream's new paintjob in Armada was awesome).
Did I miss something about TC? He's my fav WFC character in any case

I think they designs look fairly good, I happen to really dig that insecticon character and I don't mind the dreads.

Kudos, MINDVVIPE, and great job showing a constructive way to respond to being pissed off.

On a side note, I don't get why some people throw out remarks like "g1 fanboy." I don't see what's wrong with being a G1 fan, or with G1 art or writing or whatever. One thing I've observed in both work and art is that often, the simpler route is the better one. Or as the saying goes (Einstein?), "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler." I think the movie artists would do well to take that saying to heart. Most of the time I find myself wondering exactly what it is I'm looking at when I watch or see the movie bots. With Bumblebee, I mainly think of this:

cool. I'm too obsessed with my newly recieved Leader DOTM Sentinel and Cyberverse Ironhide and Megs to think about new head sculpts right now, but come tomorrow, I'll be busy, busy, busy! I sound like a caffinated teacher O_o
