Higher price for Human Alliance at Walmarts

I was at my local walmarts late yesterday evening strolling down the toy isle and to my surprise i saw 4 HA Jazz and then i saw the price of $32.97each! they was $29.97 just last week! Is walmarts slowly raising the price of everything? What your thoughts and have anyone seen this at their local walmarts?
Sorry for the crappy pic i was using a cell phone camera..

I'm glad I got out of collecting them now.
With never seeing Mudflap, and Jazz not impressing me enough to keep going with the line, I just said "I'm out."
This made sure I won't be returning to collecting it.

Not that I want to give you crap, (please don't get upset, I don't mean to offend) but wasn't Walmart accused by industries across the board into strong arming manufactures into lowering the prices? I mean that's why Hasbro and a ton of other toy companies gave Toy'r'us a ton of exclusives a few years ago.
I think the reason why there's a price hike is because the company's overhead is not being covered enough by sales. Wal-mart had huge business when everyone else was sinking into the toilet last year and this year. Now that all the other companies/stores have cut their cost down a lot and are in a position to make better deals now, which is hurting Wal-mart's growth overall. Also, most manufactures don't want to get strong armed again, and China isn't as cheap as it used to be. SRP stands for suggested retail price.

I love the line, but I have to agree. I wish they'd get rid of the human figures and cut the price. They're too small for the bots they come with and the human interaction gimmick is pretty dumb.

If I recall correctly, you're right. But it wasn't just toys. Wal-Mart's been strong arming several industries, especially clothing. But I do remember something about toys being in the list as well.
And this isn't the first time Wal-Mart's done this. They did it last year too. They raised their prices for a short time, and then when Christmas came, they rock bottomed all of their toy prices. I can almost guarantee they'll do the same thing this year as well, because it did help give them great sales figures. They still didn't perform great during the holiday season, at least not compared to their previous years, but their toy sales certainly did well by them.
My local store did better than usual, but not great. Other local stores did far better though. (Well, semi-local)
They'd be crazy not to try the same thing this year.

Normally I'd disagree here, because I thought the first human figures fit the robots rather well in terms of size, but I have to agree now that I've seen the new Sam mold.
It's terrible. The face is a mess, the size is just incredibly small, and with the higher price, it feels like you're getting rooked.
The first Sam wasn't perfect, but the face was a reasonable facsimile. This one? Not even close.

If I'm remembering correctly, Mudflap is being repacked for the HFTD line. Wave 2, according to BBTS.

It's Wal-Mart, dude. Have you worked for them? I don't give a rat's ass. Hell, even if I had one, I still wouldn't give it.

There's no need to be rude like that. He simply stated some facts, and he even prefaced it by saying he meant offense, yet you give a really crappy answer? Why? What has he done to deserve such a response?
He wasn't calling you into question. He was going after Wal-Mart. Big difference.

I agree quite a lot with that statement. The little figures just add to the price overall. I would prefer packaging similar to the Alternators line. There is no reason for these to be priced at $30.

How can you say that about HA Jazz? I mean i was like you before and how i feel about the whole HA line, but i made a BIG mistake buy HA Sideswipe as my first HA figure of the line, needless to say i was very disappointed with this figure and took it back to TRU the very next day. Hasbro could have done a better job on SS, but the half of a car hanging off of his back was a half-ass job by hasbro to begin with. I too was abit skeptical about HA Jazz, but the nice thing about my ordeal is, my wife bought BB and Jazz as a gift recently for me and both are a HUGE win with me!!! Still trying to track down HA Barricade so these 3 will be more of a tribute to the first movie than ROTF movie. HA Skids, Mudflap and the upcoming shadow blade SS i could care less about this time and just waiting to see the next HA figure to hit the shelf and which im hoping its a Decepticon like Sideways or maybe Rampage (if possible). I would rather have these than the deluxe figures by far and as long as Hasbro keeps making HA line like Jazz and Barricade then i wouldnt mine shelling out the extra money to have a figure with more weapons and more movie accuracy to add to mine collection.
