Saw it at target and went for it.

Cyclonis is definitely the better of the
two quality wise in both apps and plastic...
he seems to be the more durable one too.

Hot Rod is just cheap... he already has
stress fractures and the left shoulder is
already cracked and I only transformed
him carefully a few times... the knees
are also very very loose.

Won't tightening the screw solve the loose back
kibble?

I bought this set expecting Hots to be the better of
the two... I love the mold but for the plastic quality,
and paint apps, I'm sorely disappointed.

If you need a cyclonus go for it... If not stay away.

Then again who will pay $90+ for a upgrade set but $50+ for a figure to go with it..Just my thoughts...

So this 2 pack comes with the matrix? Hell I'll get it for that and for another classics cyclonus..

I mentioned this before and was pretty much shot down, so ymmv, but I agree.

And I'll explain it again: Hasbro does not care about Third Party Companies as long as they operate within a certain threshold (read: they're keeping an eye shut), but they do know the significance of Season 3, which has Rodimus in it. That is it, nothing more.

You made your point long ago. No need to be condescending. Just shelve it and BACK OFF.

lol so touchy! XD He was just explaining something.

Being told you're wrong =/= being condescended

and you are wrong. Half of the Classics/Animated/Masterpieces released this year have been paying tribute to Season 3, as to keep up with the whole "2010" theme, regardless of any Fansproject figures.

Just got these today, The Cyclonus is perfect no complaints there.

Rodimus on the other hand is like (as someone said earlier) a knock off. The plastic feels cheap! He already has stress marks on the right shoulder and that's with 1 transformation :-( His joints are tight at least but the paint apps are a bit lacking, what little paint he has seems OK except for his head crest which looks as though it's been put on with a toothbrush instead of a paintbrush! Overall quite disappointed with Roddy.

I mainly bought this set for A) Cyclonus and B) The diecast Matrix, now I have Cyclonus, Scourge and a Matrix wearing Galvatron displayed proudly in front of my Unicron!

Now to find a cheap classics Rodimus!

I could just kill for either Classics or Henkei Rodimus now (as well as some other figures), the original price put me off when I first saw them: €17 ($22)! The clearance sales came a little too late for Roddy and the rest.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

You are correct, sir.

What makes me mad is, some people aren't even willing to entertain the possibility. By Hasbro cashing in on these, it doesn't mean they're supporting it. Exploiting it is a lot different than supporting it.

Do we have definitive proof that Hasbro's cashing in on it? No.
Do we have definitive proof that Hasbro's not? No.
And Hasbro can't admit to cashing in on the situation because it'd look as though they're supporting the situation, so of course they'll lie when questioned about it, we'd all do the same thing, but when one of their own actually owns the City Commander set...heh.

So, I have to ask...why is it so impossible that Hasbro would be cashing in on this situation? Why is it outside the realm of the possible?
