Most people think, and I tend to agree, that the third Arcee sister was supposed to be a new mold to enable the combination, and not a repaint of Chromia.
With that said, anything you can come up with yourself, is as valid as anything else you may find.

There is no way to put those things together that doesn't look wrong. Seriously, just coat them in glue and smash them together at high speeds and VIOLA! you're done!

But as usual, I digress.
We will likely never see a proper way to ever combine them, but as for me personally, I like to pretend that they mash together with much clicking and whirring and that the end result is 07 movie Arcee. I know there would be a lot of missing tires and other such motorcycle parts in this situation, but it makes the most sense if you read the IDW comics.

I don't blame Hasbro - I blame whoever designed the durn things for Bay. They're hideous as is, look stupid even in the source material, and any "combination" would be half-acred even if it looked just like the "official" version.
Worthless, simply worthless. And apparantly all because Michael Bay said he didn't like the character.

There are rumors of an Elita-1 repaint? So, that would be a repaint of a repaint? Don't hold your breath on instructions since the original concept was changed and thrown out the window.

Yea,there is "supposed" to be a re-paint of E-1 in regular purple plastic instead of the white/pinkish version that came out and yes I agree with you on the "concept thrown out the window" theory because this isnt the first or last time that the figure was either changed at the last minute or dropped completly after it was advertised that it would be released which is pretty much just throwing a bone to the dog top keep it quiet.

I believe you are all talking about the TakaraTomy version. Same figure (yep, repaint of Chromia), just in movie-accurate purple.

This has been known for a long time. It's been well documented on this website and even in this very thread. I don't know why you would have had to go to another website for the answer. When threads like this pop up every few days, people give sarcastic comments because it gets asked all the time. I think Hasbro could have engineered the combined mode, they have the means. It's just that when the combination was dropped in the movie, they decided to drop it in the toys.

The reason I went to another website is because I thought maybe someone had information on the subject that I didnt know about and so far,YOU are the only one who made a comment about it in a negative way.I can handle when someone says somethin like "leave them out in the sun to melt" because its done in good humor and not the way you posted it with an attitude behind it.And since when do you have the right to tell me or anyone else they cant check info on another website because YOU dont like it? Its for reasons like this I left TFW2005 because there were too many people that feel they have to flame or bash someone because they can get away with it.
