How to remove stickers?

I was recently gifted a couple secondhand Masterpiece figures decked out with Reprolabels. And as nice as those look, the stickers are starting to unpeal around the edges. I tried removing a few but they're leaving glue residue behind. What would be the cleanest way to remove them without damaging the figures?
