I usually don't show my stuff until it's finished but just a taste of something to come...
Still alot of work to be done, not half finished without counting painting.
I'm also planning to make his robot head swivel...

Wow, he looks pretty kick-ass already. I like how you made the waist swivel like that. I probably would have just made the lower crotch part swivel, but your way looks so much better.

Looks fantastic already. You're making the head turn too? I'm curious how you're going to do that - just the robot head itself, or are you going to articulate the whole dino head shell?

perhaps the robots head will have a swivel with the dino head sandwiched between those 2 parts?

I can only figure out a way to swivel the robot head. If I touch the dino head, I have diecast to take care of and the lower jaw that may cause a problem.

What if you made the swivel point the back of his head, instead of the neck? Then connect it to the inside roof of the dino mouth. If you have enough space up under there to work?

That's exactly what I want to do because under the head, there is a screw to hold the front and back of torso. I will put a balljoint behind the robot head, there will be room behind it when I remove the useless plastic part that holds it.
