Broken Sword [GBA]:
Had a lot of time to play on the bus recently.
Explored the churched, talked to the priest, pissed off the jongleur (mais si, monsieur !), exploring the catacombs under the church.
CrimeCraft Beta [PC]:
Been waiting on this game for about a year, I think. It's unique, yet still manages to feel generic. The 'crime' theme doesn't really come across, and the whole post-war setting clashes a little too much with the hip urban characters and clothing shops.
I won't be paying for this when it comes out, that's for sure.

Mass Effect:
Let the Rachni Queen free on Noveria. Perhaps I'll use this to smite my enemies later. Currently running around the Citadel looking for side quests, since you can actually run around the Citadel and run into side quests that way. Damn, BioWare sure knows how to pad out a game.
Final Fantasy VI:
Running through the Narshe Mines to find Umaro. Goddamn Tonberries are tough.

FarCry [PC]:
In the swamp level. On my way to disarm the nuke, lest the mad scientist unleash his mutant monsters on the world.
Is this a serious FPS or an '80s cartoon? The only reason this game got any kind of critical acclaim is because of the visuals and technical merits. It's a very generic game with some downright awful elements, such as plot, dialogue, acting, and save system.
Oh well. It only cost $5 at the grocery store. I can't wait to finish it so I can uninstall it.
Lunia [PC]:
Reached Level 60. Working my way through the Dwarves' mines. They DON'T want me there. Oh well, I'll just have to kill them all.
Exteel [PC]:
Felt like some good mech action and didn't feel like a sim, so I got back into this great game. The only Free To Play game I've actually paid for, as the a) game is actually worth it, which is NOT common in Free* games, b) the prices are worth it for the items you get, and c) the items are permanent. So for a tenner, you can buy a new mech, keep it forever, and still have points left over for guns and other gear. I love it.
About 50% through Level 20. Upgraded my Marksmanship to the max, not sure what other stats to improve since the difference is negligible.
The only other Free* game I'd pay for is Project Torque, the Free* racing game that feels like a commercial racing game.

Cleared episode 2 levels 5 & 6, the village and the swamp. Defeated the Swamp Thing and thus cleared episode 2.

So far, only managed to clear the game with Ryu and Ken on Easy. Unlocked Sakura but that's about it.
Simple but sad fact. I love fighting games but I've never been very good at them.

Metroid Fusion:
Who's idea was it to include enemies that do 30 damage? I want to punch him.
Restored power to the station, getting the Plasma Beam in the process.
Mass Effect:
BEATEN! With a fresh scent of lemon. Convinced Saren that he should turn against Sovereign and work with us because we're not seeking to wipe out all life in the Galaxy. He joined us, and by "joined," I mean "shot" and by "us" I mean, "himself in the head." Well, that's one way to take down a final boss. In response, Sovereign turned him into a crazy psycho zombie thing. After we killed that, Sovereign realized he probably shouldn't exert so much force on such a thing, when he's being attacked by the combined space forces of the Citadel Races. He's all dead now.

Metroid Fusion:
BEATEN! A great Metroid game, fairly story-heavy as far as Metroid games go. But the second half of the bosses...damn. I mean, I'm all for challenging boss fights, but perhaps they could have turned down the damage just a bit?
Metroid: Zero Mission:
Meanwhile, in the world of bosses that won't kill me in two hits.
Kraid and his lard are dead. Now Ridley's on his way back to Zebes, and he's gonna be pretty pissed I just offed his drinking buddy.

I loathe Fusion. Terrible story that just feels lazy [seriously? "X parasites"?] And putting Samus in that diver suit with Batman spikes? Weak. And reducing exploration/making the game more linear with those damn Nav rooms really killed the fun of running backtracking and finding items. Not to mention that the whole subplot involving Adam [was that his name?] and the computer felt out of place.
PROTIP: The "any objections, lady" guy is back in Other M, which looks like 57 varieties of win. I think it takes place after Super Metroid [the best Metroid and SNES game ever], as the trailer shows Mother Brain's final form from Super Metroid.

Adam Malkovich, a former Feddie bigwig, and by Fusion, a computer. Yeah, seeing as he's alive in Other M, and technically dead in Fusion, it's probably after Super Metroid, although it could take place prior to any of the games.
I'm actually really tempted to get Metroid Prime Trilogy for Wii. All three Prime games, with Corruptions controls, and all for only $50.

I know, that's why I lol'd at the 'aiming with thumbsticks' thing. Oh man, the first time I played RE4 and was able to actually effing aim, using the remote... that was beautiful. Even the PC mouseaim mod can't compare!

That's a tough call, especially for those of us who already own all 3 Prime games. Still, wouldn't mind seeing how much of a difference the controls make.

Metroid: Zero Mission:
Ridley's dead...okay, that's a lie. I just shot him a lot until he fell down. The guy's unkillable, this is undeniable. I wouldn't be surprised if they were able to resurrect what very little remains of him after Metroid Fusion.

To be honest, the explanation was that in Metroid 1, Samus wasn't powerful enough to defeat Kraid, Ridley, nor the Mother Brain, she only injured them badly. Which is why they run away exploding. Well, slide away, anyway.

Final Fantasy X:
Attempted to finally finish off Jecht...ow. I mean, I can understand a uber-powerful Final Boss (Screw you, Yu Yevon, you're nothing but that extra Sephiroth battle to me!) but the fact that he can perform a string of actions immediately after his Overdrive seems a bit unfair. As such, I've decided to bite the bullet and actually go find everyone's Celestial Weapons.

Batman: Arkham Asylum:
Recovered from a freaky experience courtesy of Scarecrow and later managed to stop Harley Quinn. Now, Oracle is telling me that something is happening in the Botanical Gardens on Arkham island. Hmm...I wonder who I'll fight there...
Assassin's Creed:
Returned to Damascus to take care of some business; there are some tougher guards here than before. I can't wait for the sequal to this game, mostly because it takes place in Italy during the Renaissance!

A very confused and startled Darkseid.
Final Fantasy X:
BEATEN! I won by Grand Summoning Shiva, who, since she had Break Damage Limit, was able to do about 75,000 damage twice (Compared to Jecht's 120,000 HP), only because an attack that SHOULD have killed her (She had only about 350 HP left) missed. Needles to say, Shiva earned herself a cookie.
