I met Happy Locust. I don't remember exactly how we found out that we went to the same college but we eventually met up.

Then I met Ryan last October. It was cool because I've interacted with him through this site for like 8 years. Good guy! :CON:

i am soooooooooooooooo lonely i have met no other collctors no seibertron members i am starting to think i am the only coolector in portage OH. :sad:

I've got quite the running list now thanks to Botcon. Of course Delicon who started this thread. Counterpunch, Seibertron, Getter Dragun, Sgt. Grumbles, Air Commander Starscream, Savage, Flux Convoy, Prime Evil, Energon, First Gen, Fender Bender, Mkall, and I'm sure that there's a couple more that I can't think of right now and I apologize for that.

Seriously, if you are on this board you need to make it to Botcon. Make friends, buy transformers, get the inside scoop on upcoming toys, and drink like fiends! What more could you want?

I was at Botcon 06, 07, 08, and who mentions me no one. Especially no one I walked across the city to get coffee with (Geekee), and someone I traded sets with so he could get the 08 set (Savage).

And of course, I wasn't the one who made a Seibertron post card deal to give out as a, "Thanks for coming to our gathering" reminder.

Yeah, I guess I'll just stick with the Michiganders. We all have the same speech impediment anyway. RC13, tfPredaking, PorQPine, Boon... you all rock.

Way to hurt everyone's feelings with this thread guys. :twisted:

I'm like 99% sure I met you without an official introduction. There were so many people I talked to and didn't get to know on a more personal level.

Where were you sitting during Board Wars? You might have been one of the people I was talking to then.

I've also met most of the Michiganders too: RC13, tfpredaking, PQP, DeepWater, jimi04, Sky Glory of Iacon, etc. They're fun to hang out with now and again. I tend to see RC13 and tfpredaking most often though since they're not far from me.

It's karma...sorry about that Pam. Since I don't get to extravacon much I was relating mainly the guys who've hung out with me at Botcon. God Magnus, jsmith too are regulars that hang out at Extravacon with you all.

Yeah, I was near Geekee1 and Air Commander Starscream, a few other guys were there but I wasn't sure on all the names. I was either next to or directly behind Geekee1 when he made thet classic phone call to Counterpunch.

My wife was next to me, too. If you look back at Counterpunch's pic thread from Botcon, Jaime and I are in the 3rd pic from the top.

Megatron's Lapdog...that's another board member whose posts I enjoy reading...that I'm also unsure of whether I was introduced to or not.

Prime Evil...if you were sitting near him, his mohawk was probably blocking my view.

2003: Met Seibertron and Professor Smooth at OTFCC in Chicago
2006: Shared a room with both of the above for Botcon. Met Air Commander Starscream and others for the first time.
2007: Crashed at Seibertron's apartment, flew with Seibertron out to Rhode Island. Crashed with Seib's and Down_Shift. Met up with Counterpunch, Omega Sentinel, Getterdragun, and others.
2008: Drove to Cincy with First Gen. Crashed with Geekee1, Sgt. Grumbles, First Gen, and Counterpunch. Met TheMuffin for the first time, hung out with many.

Since 2005, I've been going to Dairycon (if you live near Wisconsin, GO!) and have hung out with many Wisconsin Transformers Fans who visit other sites. The two I see most are Mexi-con and Pimpimus Prime from TFW.

I'm terrible with names, but I can usually connect a face with a username. I'll be trying to get to Botcon this year, but no promises.

There's been so much debating about where Botcon should be held, with over half of the replies basically amounting to " near where I live."

I think there's an easier way to decide this. We just need to find the largest possible bar and hold all convention events there. When the bar closes we can all sleep in Counterpunch's room (it was already close to being that last year)

Tigertracks 24, there's an easy way to solve your problem as well. You just need a cool hat with your name on it like First gen had last year.

I vaguely know a few members within driving distance...

The first member I met when I moved here was Tigertracks24, we started talking at the local comic shop. That was roughly 5 yrs ago. I caught up with him on seibertron, and we've been collectors-in-arms ever since.

Through seibertron I've met RodimusConvoy13, who I talk to regularly, his girlfriend, tfpredaking, God Magnus, the late TFMaster, ionacus, noob, HighBeam, DeepWater, sparty2304, jimi04, ChZuck...I think that is everybody in the metro area.

I'm pretty sure I've forgotten a couple of people, probably because the don't post the Michigander thread much any more.

Other members I've met/hung out with at Botcon(s) are Seibertron, Counterpunch, Downshift, Fender Bender, Geekee1, probably some others...I had been drinking.
