I love taking a cheap knock off Transformers from places like Big Lots!, Ebay or the dollar store and giving them personalities. For some reason, when I picked this guy up he screamed Mexican wrestler. We see plenty of samurai, Tokyo drifters,kabuki/geisha designs but no luchador themed bots. So...I figured I'd have some fun. I added a few paint apps and made some stickers. I kept it kinda simple because I wanted to keep the campy bootleg feel and the cool kitsch of the El Santo movies.The result....
EL ROBOTO!
A brave gladiator who fights with honor and dignity fro the Autbot cause. Though handy with a sword and blaster, El Roboto prefers to use his brute strength to battle mano a mano.
