Well, my stuff still didn't ship today, which means I won't see it until next Wed or Thursday

It's a Transformers kinda day. I've been catching up on my TF:Prime episodes. Wheeljack, man. I want one.
I know there's a new Deluxe floating around, but have yet to see him locally. However, at Target I found some figures from the Reveal the Shield line. Most didn't interest me, except for a nice G1-lookin' Jazz. Picked him up to go with my Universe Classics. A couple more figures for that one and I'll have a pretty respectable Autobot lineup.
I'm liking the return of the rub stickers. Mine was a little crooked on the roof, so I carefully peeled it off and stuck it on the hood in front of the big "4" to be a lil more accurate.
Also, there's been a Scourge floating around my Southfield TRU. Not sure if he's still there today, but he was hanging on the pegs all week.

Screw it....I broke down, especially after reading the latest news on Seibertron.com, and pre-ordered (even though it's the second round of preorders) warpath/wheeljack/ thundercracker. also threw in lugnut for good measure......says April...hopefully I will see them before july.

So, I'm liking this Jazz figure a lot. On a sidenote, I've been considering painting my car this summer. It's an old beater, has a good number of scratches/dents from the previous owner so I figure it's a good practice vehicle.
The Jazz figure gave me a fresh idea:

I think it might be a good idea to keep your eyes on Target. My fiancée is a cashier at Target and she had to go in at 6 today for a big marketing and floor update. Hopefully this update has an affect on the toy set-up. I'll let you know later on.

Getting really tired of the drought we're in. Don't enjoy overpaying with online purchases/ shipping. Not worth it. Then again, driving back and forth, using precious $4 dollar a gallon gas isn't worth it either. It makes me want to cash in on the stuff I do have and walk away. Sad, I know, but the stress of the hunt has taken its toll. It's just not fun anymore. Hasbro, so it seems, has pretty much abandoned us. I feel they may be losing a 10 year collector and 25 year fan really soon if things don't change.

Oh, stop being so dramatic.
They're just toys. I get excited about what I find and don't fret what I can't. If you take it too seriously, you lose the fun.
We've had this jerk coming into my store for a while now, apparently there's been complaints about him from other stores in the region too. He was waiting around for a box of figures on truck day. Someone mentioned this to me, I had seen the box, so I found the guy and went to the back and got the box for him. He took a couple out of it, thanked me and left.
What I found out later is that one of my coworkers had taken a particular figure from this box for themselves and that one the guy had been looking for this one as well. Chase variant, or something. When he noticed it missing from the case, he complained to the manager at the front desk. Never having a problem with workers setting aside stock before, until of course someone complains, the manager goes and finds where this figure was stashed and gives it to the guy. Kind of a questionable move on his part, I think he could've handled it better.
Sure, maybe workers shouldn't be setting aside stuff like this, but if you ask me it's a perk of the job. In my couple of years there, this is the first time there's been a direct conflict like this, I think this worker and I are the only collectors on the staff. The customer never would have known if I had put the stuff right on the shelf before we opened rather than doing him a favor and grabbing the box out of the back. If an indie comic shop owner did this, no one would care. They'd just ask him to order more and reserve one. Sigh.
I'd also heard that this guy literally stepped in front of someone who was browsing an aisle and grabbed for a figure just as the other person was reaching for it. What a jerk. Pretty sure he's just turning around and sellin' this crap on eBay, but w/e.
Anyway. Don't take it too seriously.
You ruin the fun. Also, I wouldn't take it too personally. It wouldn't be Hasbro who's sending less, it's the stores who are ordering less. For example, my store had Animated Ratchets FOREVER. People kept coming in and asking about those Arcees and Rodimus figures, but we weren't getting them because no one was buying what we had. You just gotta find the store that moves more product, that's your best chance.
Target works better for me, lately. TRU's been kinda dropping the ball on action figures.

Flint meijers on center road had 1 each of scourge and kup. I already have 1 each of them so they are still there on the top peg behind a cliffjumper. They also have the little Thor figures on sale for 5 bucks a piece.

Carpenter Road Meijer in A2 has 1 Kup left as of 2:30pm Tuesday. Grabbed the only Scourge.

Well, I guess BBTS.com wins again. Ordered Legends G1 Optimus Prime and Legends G1 Megatron. These two usually sell out within a couple of hours so I got lucky this time around. Can't wait to add them to my collection. Now it's crunch time. Have to save money and make room for the several DOTM variations of these two.

I got my Warpath, Wheeljack and Thundercracker today. Thanks tfpredaking!
Wheeljack is great. He's a much more solid figure than my Tracks who was really loose. He's short, but cool.
Warpath kicks ass. Such a great looking figure. Thundercracker is nice too. Can't decide if i like it better than the Botcon version.
My Wreck-Gars should be here by the end of the week.

That ain't right. What's fed ex say? Is it stuck in customs? Seems like a really long time.

autobot joe, nice Prime/Megs display
RC13, I totally agree, Wheeljack is much MUCH more solid than Tracks. Warpath might be my favorite figure from the last few waves as he is all kinds of awesome!!
Botcon Thundercracker is still a better overall looking toy color-wise, but the face on the mass release is admittedly better.
Now I just need my Wreckgar to arrive in the mail so I can have him ride scrapheap.

I like how HTS has been putting all these figure back online over the last few days. They put wreck-gar online. Once he's sold out, they put up perceptor. Once he's sold out they put up wheeljack. Then he sells out and they put up warpath. You can't order them all at the same time. They must make a lot of money on shipping. :-/
