Got a few more NCcoins, and bought ALL OF THE OPERATORS. I don't know why. I'm currently using Jordan, the tomboy mechanic chick (Who looks remarkably like Yuffie from Final Fantasy VII), who slows down the depletion of durability on my mech parts by 30%.
I also got the Flanker booster, which lets me use the Multi-later skill (Works like phoenix fire, except it hits multiple enemies). The Flanker itself is taken DIRECTLY out of Gundam 00, the aesthetic and glowing green particles are a dead-ringer for the 00 Raiser. Not that that's a bad thing, it looks really cool.

There's a museum?

Dragon Age: Origins
Looks like my savegame strategy failed, as I had to man up to my double-dealing ways. Lost Morrigan's romance but salvaged my relationship with Leliani. At least Zevran's not the jealous type.
Went back to the deep roads, met the Legion of the dead and fought my way through the Darkspawn hordes, eventually reaching the lost city of Bownamar. The boss of this area turned out to be a Dwarven Broodmother, a freaky looking lady with tentacles, slime, and a large rack. Six of them, in fact.

Defeated the broodmother and finally found Branka, who was less than appreciative of the effort involved in finding her. Oh well, at least I can leave through the pathway full of traps, puzzles, and more traps. Joy.

It unlocks when you complete the game. You've got your choice of weapon, and then you push the big fat red button to animate the displays and you fight everyone. Including the good guys.

I haven't even touched Spec ops yet, though I really don't have an interest in it.
Dragon Age: Origins
Survived the traps on the way to the anvil. No real puzzlers, just a golem assault, a poison gas chamber, and a legion of souls surrounding a spinning 4-faced altar, I finally reached the Anvil. Turns out the Anvil's creator is still there, entrapped as a golem. He asked me to destroy it, but Branka showed up asking to save it, despite it having the noticable downside of using living bodies to create the golems. I chose to destroy it, but Branka whipped out a control rod and sent the golems after me. my team is now 4 piles of gooey paste. I need to rethink my strategy.

Managed to survive the golem onslaught, primarily by freezing Branka so I could whittle away her golems first. Once that was done, Caridin thanked me by granting me a paragon crown. After I smashed the anvil for him, he thanked me then leapt to his death in a lava flow.
Returned to Orzammar and gave the crown to Harrowdin, naming him king. His opponent wasn't too happy and a brawn ensued in the council chamgers. My side won and Harrowdin honored his promise by granting me Dwarf troops to use in the upcoming battle. That's 3 down, now I just need to go speak to the elves in the Dalish forests. But first, a restocking trip to Denerim.

Playing this over again, going for 80% corruption (Going with the two canon choices--Saving the Elven women and sticking with Rose), mostly because it didn't feel right playing Raising Hell with what is essentially a good guy. Just hid some minions in the Mother Goddess statue, now I want to get the Arcanium Smelter before I deal with Goldo.

It's actually not Spec Ops, it's similair to the secret plane level in COD 4. You just go to the mission select screen and select the museum. After picking up a weapon you go to a red button that says DO NOT PUSH!!! (just like that) and then everybody comes alive....and you have to kill them...it sucks....and there's ANOTHER room after that!

EPIC WIN sig by slip!!

Exteel [PC]:
Levelled up to 23, I think. New Last Stand isn't bad. It really put the emphasis on TEAMWORK. Finally, no more of the damn "Durp guise ima go kill dudly alone lolz" noobs who think they can survive the canyon with SMGs and a sword.
Took advantage of the Bonus period to farm some serious IG$$$. Bought 2 Rectifier medi-guns, some Repair points, and some new arms for my light backup mech, which I've named "B.O.N.K." since it's light and fast and good for scouting. It's a force a'nature. If you were from where it was from, you'd be f#&%in' dead.
I'm real bad as a medic, despite my hours of playing Medic in another game. In Exteel, I often find myself overheating my Rects as I'm always repairing teammates, even when they don't need to be repaired. I guess I'm expecting to build up an übercharge. Well, I guess there is one, in slot 5, but my repairing affects it in no way.

Installed the game, ran the tutorial mission by helping an evil man get into power. Said evil man betrayed me and now must die. First step was to set up a base by taking over the evil man's old home.
Ran into an odd glitch where I was invisible to the enemies. No enemies would respond, even if I was standing right in front of them. strange.

For a good time, get a chopper, preferably one with a healthy supply of missiles. Find the oil platform in the water behind your mansion. Bomb the hell out of it. Spend the next three minutes going "ooh, aah" at all the pretty lights and explosions.

Two days (More or less) and no posts, I don't feel too bad about double-posting.
Overlord II:
BEATEN!
Final Fantasy VI Advance:
Got to the final boss. They told me Kefka was a pushover! A few rounds of Heartless Angel, Havoc Wing, Hyperdrive and Forsaken later, I now have serious trust issues.
Instead, I used a Teleport Stone to get out. Instead, I headed over to the Dinosaur Forest, and began hunting and killing Brachiosaurs (Powerful, but remarkably easy once you get the hang of it) for Celestriads. So far, I've found one, which I gave to Terra. I headed over and got the Soul of Thamasa from the Cult Tower, this time given to Celes. I'm not certain if I can only get one Celestriad (Of all the Brachiosaurs I killed, only one gave me it) but no one's said it's a one-of-a-kind drop.
I intend for my Final Party to be Edgar and Sabin as main damage dealers, Celes as White Mage, and Terra as both Black Mage and back-up White Mage. I built up Relm up as another White Mage, she'll fill in for anyone who doesn't make it to Kefka. The tough part is keeping everyone alive long enough to make it to Kefka.
EDIT: The next Brachiosaur I fought after that handed out a Celestriad. Go figure.

Hey! You're stealing my bit!

j/k.

Mercenaries 2
With my new home base, did some contracts for a Petroleum group involving recovering and delivering a stolen arms shipment, bringing a pink motorbike to them (don't ask), and setting up a listening post to rescue an executive. For my trouble, got a helicopter pilot to join my team.
Dragon Age Origins
Mostly exploring the Brecilian forests, finding the parts of a very powerful armor, finishing Wynne's personal quest, and recovering a talking tree's acorn from a mad magician. Eventually located the Werewolves' lair.
Rather than proceed, decided to try my hand at killing Morrigan's mother again. Guess what, I won! Got the real grimiore and a new set of robes for MOrrigan, though couldn't do the 'witch gone wild' thing as I'd already had to settle a love triangle involving her earlier. sigh...

GTA IV [PC]:
Crap hit the fan. Done Russian Revolution and Roman's Sorrow. When driving to the apartment and I heard the explosion, I actually jumped. This is coming from a guy who had relatively little trouble getting through Ravenholm (SPOILER: They don't go to Ravenholm), but I guess I care so much about these characters that when I heard their home blow up, it got to me. A GTA with characters you care about? Lolwut?
Brucie's my friend now (that's how we roll, because we're genetically superior alpha males), and I did the first job for Manny, man. Streets, man. Streets. Man.
HALO: Combat Evolved [PC]:
Seeing as how I can now actually run Halo 2 (lol@Micrapsoft making it NOT compatible with WinXP, unless you cracked it properly), I figured I would re-experience Halo 1 before plunging into 2. Just got the Warthog and cleared the light bridge.
I'm sorta taking vacation videos on the ringworld, using Xfire to capture videos. You can find them here if you want: http://www.xfire.com/profile/1337w42210 ... ?count=120
Also, Halo Legends is surprisingly good. Then again, do you expect anything less from Production I.G after they brought us the Ghost in the Shell animés? Here's my review of it: http://the-nail-gun.blogspot.com/2010/0 ... gends.html

I saw a couple episodes of it, it actually was really good. Halo has a really good story, the games just don't do it justice.
Final Fantasy VI: Advance:
BEATEN! Aside from a few minor snags (Such as a mishap involving a one-hit-kill being dual-casted, leading Terra to be removed for the final battle), my plan worked perfectly.
Final Fantasy I: Dawn of Souls:
Just cleared the pirates out of Pravoka.

Legends DOES do it justice. Serious, dark, touching war stories, along with plenty of action, and some comedy along the way. Seriously worth checking out.
GTA IV [PC]:
Did 3 races for Brucie, won them because I'm genetically different, baby. Did some jobs for Manny. Word, man, streets, man, give it up, streets, word, man. Met Elizabeta and Packie, helped Packie fight off some goons.
Halo: Combat Evolved [PC]:
Raided the gravity lift at night and am now on board the Covenant ship, the Truth and Reconciliation. Time to lay down some hurt, Descent-style.

Dragon Age: Origins
Cleared the Brecilian forest recruiting mission. Infiltrated the Werewolve's lair and met with their leader, the Lady of the Forest. Found out that the werewolf curse was actually created by the Dalish leader centuries ago. Attempted to work out a peaceful solution but the Dalish leader would have none of it. Before killing him, he surrendered and agreed to lift the curse, killing both himself and the Lady of the forest (witherfang him/herself) in the process. The werewolve's were cured and turned human again. With the werewolf problem taken care of, the Dalish elves agreed to support me against the Blight.
So my recruiting has left me with Human Knights, Dalish Elves, Mages, and Dwarves. A standard but still well-rounded setup.
While searching, found the Juggernaut armor and gave it to Alistair. Also learned the Arcane Warrior specialization and taught it to Morrigan, who can now swordfight along with the rest of us.
Story-wise, all that's left is the landsmeet and then the final battle. Going to spend some time finishing up sidequests first though.

Which version of FFI are you playing? They made grinding a lot easier in the GBA's Dawn of Souls version.

Yeah, Dawn of Souls. And it is easier (The fact that characters will pick a new target if their original one is killed before they can attack it, is a vast improvement over the original), but somehow there's never quite enough money for healing, new equipment, new spells, my subscription to "White Mages Gone Wild," training a dinosaur so I can ride on it, and other stuff that isn't available in-game.

I hear ya, buddy. But at least it's not as FAILGRIND as the original, ya know?

and speaking of failgrinding in Final fantasy games...
Final Fantasy 4: the after years
REached the second moon but still hopelessly outleveled by the enemies. The chapter import system is a good idea but leaves my team very unevenly leveled, to where my man in black is bad ass but the other 4 are still weak as kittens. Working on leveling them up but it's not easy. Main problem is an enemy called a Grey Coeurl, which has high-speed, always attacks twice, and likes to use the Blaster spell which has a chance of being an instant kill. I'm running back to my save point after every battle just to use a cottage and get my health back.
Prince of Persia
started game, met Elika, watched the world go to hell as a dark god was released, and then hit a random area to fight a warrior and knock him off a cliff. Currently running through the same level looking for light spheres.
got all the sphere's I could find and then headed to the Royal Palace to fight the concubine for the first time. Took her out and healed the main area.
