Anyone who has information on the Big DVD box set, The Matrix of Leadership Edition, which has 16-DVD's and contains all 98 episodes of the original Generation 1 Transformers TV show, please let me know, is that box set ever going to be sold in stores? or is the only way you can buy it is by ordering it online? I know it's expensive, but I would rather by that than having to wait until all individual seasons have been released on DVD.

Like I would rather buy, purchase that box set than having to wait months for every individual season to come out.

Sadly, I don't think it's going to be available in stores until the individual seasons are out.

For now, yes. It will be released in stores. We just don't know when yet.

Yes it is being released to retailers soon. According to tvshowsondvd.com it's being released on Canada on 10/13/09 & US on 10/20/09 both countries for $169.99. You're better off ordering from Shout factory's web site like I did for $140 since the shipping was free there. Hope this helps!
