As for Skullgrin, as cool as he is, mine has right handed fingers on his left hand.

I'm going to have to exchange him, and I'm going to have to open the box at the store before I leave to make sure it's a one-time defect. I am not feeling well right now at all, so I hope I'm up to going out tomorrow to take care of this so I can have my big Drift ambush I was planning to set up. This is the first major QC issue I've had, and it really ticks me off.

I also saw quite a few Arcee/Tailwhip packs. I wish they would halve the price. I want the Arcee, not the Tailwhip. Oh well.

Regarding QC with Skullgrin:

It looks like only the one I picked up has that hand issue. I looked at four others when I went back and they all looked good, though it's not the easiest thing to see in the package. As for the mold and deco, while I see how it was made for Straxus, I think Skullgrin makes better use of it. And I'm not really sure why that is, as one would think the character that inspired the mold would be the best fit, not the retool.

Have you posted anything in Carbombya that you are looking for? For all I know I may have something you want. I've been thinking of listing what I'm willing to part with, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Hey guys, if you're still searching for the first wave of RTS, look no further than the Waterford K-Mart on M-59 a couple miles down from Telegraph.

They have Tracks, Jazz, Fallback, and Mindset, and what's more, they have a buy two get one free deal going! So I was able to get my Tracks and Jazz with a FREE Mindset! (Don't really want a Fallback, since there's no remolding.)

I found Gen CJ, TW, and SG at Target on Grand River near Middlebelt the other day too.

I remember this event. My friend went to these all the time looking for comic book deals. I went to a few as well some years ago. I know the area well since my favorite comic shop used to be around there. Unfortunately it had to close down because of some loons in the area not wanting a comic book shop in their community.

found the cliffjumper/thunderwing wave of generations figures at the eastland target this afternoon.

xtravacon isnt the show i will be at. great show though. alot of good people there.

I have a feeling I won't be able to make either show this Sunday. I have a medical condition that requires occasional minor surgery, which I am having tomorrow morning. For the first five years or so I was still nauseous on the Friday after but fine over the weekend, but the last few years have been rougher on my body so the safe bet is weekend rest and recovery with getting back to normal on Monday, Wednesday at the latest. Just one of those things life throws at some of us.

Anyway, feel free to sell the figure while you are at the show you are attending Sunday if someone wants it. If you still have it and can make Extravacon January 23rd, I should be able to go to that one. By then I might have my own list of things I'm willing to part with via sale or trade. All of my stuff is loose, but I have accessories, instructions, and the included comics and/or cards where applicable (Energon, some other stuff). I also may put some pictures together. I'd prefer selling/trading in person so that there are no regrets. Nothing like handling the toy to make sure it works properly. Blind sales are a huge risk in the second hand market, though I've seen plenty of good stories and know that there are a lot of honest people out there who don't mess around with other people's money.

I'm not planning on making any toy runs this week, so I hope by next week someone will spot Blurr and the PCC Dinobots at a store I frequent. I can wait for RTS, though I'd obviously prefer picking those up during the current price war markdowns that may not continue in January. Here's hoping for the best!

well i have 2 other shows right after the new year. de la salle high schools car/toy show and roseville vfw 10/gratiot comic/toy show. or something will come up.

grr man I'd love to but I think my wife is going to skin me for the protector armor and masterpiece rodimus among other things I have on order. I really want the red and blue one...

Finally found the lone Blurr, sitting on a pile of random toys in the aisle at Woodhaven Target. I am officially done until wave 2 of Reveal the Shield...thank goodness.

Also got the first issue of Nintendo Power from ebay yesterday. All kinds of excellent 80's goodness and memories there...

Found Cliffjumper, Skullgrin, and Thunderwing at Westland Target. One Red Alert remained. Saw a Dirge at Livonia Target. Saw Fallout and Minset at Livonia K-Mart. No Jazz.


I'll see those going to Xtravacon tomorrow.

i still have all my old NP's from when i was a kid just for that very reason. So awesome to peruse through and remember those times.

Well, I didn't trust BBTS to get my Protector Armor to me before I leave for Ludington on Friday morning, so I'm had it shipped up there to my parent's house. Got the shipping notice right when I got to work today. It'll be there on Wednesday... so now I have to wait until Friday. grrrrrr. At least I'll have some uninterrupted time to play with it. At work I would have been getting phone calls every 5 minutes.
