A couple of interesting arivels to mention.
Firstly MP3 soundwave + Rumble n Frenzy arived in the post.
I have but one word to say:
SEX!
Sadly, dispite buying the required memory card, I failed to buy anything to connect said card to my pc (there is no way to link it through Soundwave), so I shant be able to test him out just yet. Did manage to test out Rumble/Frenzy, they're ok, not brilliant, not the most comfortable, and not as good sound quality as you're normal in ear earphones.
Other aquisition was the Roadbots two pack that Argos are stocking (£19.99).
Ho hum, what to say about this...
Well.
The little GT0 is rather crap. No knee joints, limited waist movment and limiter shoulder movment, coupled with very top eavy weapons makes him very hart to pose. Also you have to take nearly all the body pannels off to actully transform him. He does have a nice head scalpt though.
(Why they put him (1:32 scale) in a pack with a humvee that is 1:18, I will never understand.)
On to the Humvee.
HUGE.
Very posable.
Interesting head.
Slightly odd chest (MOOBS!).
You have to take most of the sides off, and a couple of other bits to transform, but at least he has a use for all his bits in robot mode, and can carry everything in robot mode (unlike the little guy). Very fustratingly, mine didnt come with the peice of plastic that forms the handle of his gun/axe/thing, so he has a sheild, but no holdable weapon. Bugger.
Ahh well. In all honesty, I probably wouldnt recomend this set. Dosnt make sence, the 'free' one is shite, and although huge, they humvee is not worth altinator money.
Although it is worth mentioning the guy is almost as tall as Primus in robot mode.

Red, why not just take em back an buy summat else?
Frimal, if they're ignoring you, they won't do anything.
We need to make them talk to us.
Or you could ask the boss, but I'm not sure if he's any different or not.

Aargh! Here be his (slightly edited) PM, I be sure he won't mind me putting it here, as thar be nothing personal in it (also it saves me the time of writing what basically happened Aargh!):
I brought this up in the staff forum, and we are still working on a concensus decision, but I can tell you why we moved the thread in the first place, and what we are thinking about.
First off, you guys were the trend setters! The Brits thread has been a part of Seibertron.com Toys thread for as long as I can remember. It certainly had its purpose, and place, and most certainly still does.
However, you may have noticed that we MICHIGAN folks followed suit, and made our own similar thread. And between yours and ours all seemed dandy and right with the world.
But enter the movie craze, and as I'm sure you've noticed, the flood of new Seibertronians. Well, soon enough the toy forum was becoming the sitings forum with Australia, Florida, Texas, and others copying your initial idea.
We feared that this would lead to the toys forum becoming a splintered section of Seibertron, where before it was quite cohesive, now we would have posters looking to post only in their regional threads.
We didn't really want this to be the toy forum. It has its place certainly, but overall, the toy forum needed to stay about general toy topics, and not become simply a regional threads area.
That's where the sitings forum idea came from. This forum would allow folks to regionally post sitings, and discuss items of regional importance, without taking up all of the page one space on the toy forum thread.
Now, I feel your pain, believe it or not. Even though you guys were here longer, we MICHIGANDERS have used our thread to become quite a little community within the bigger community, not just posting sitings, but also a place to forum and discuss regional issues, and ideas. Great friendships have been formed because of it.
I can tell you that we had a hard time with the move too, and some of us still do. But if you get the e-mail alerts for the thread, it shouldn't be hard to find, and if you don't, we can start learning to direct our regional talk to the Sitings Forum. We are working on getting the sitings forum onto more of the navigation tools so it is easier to get to.
I hope you understand why we had to make this choice to move the thread, and also hope you realize that the Disgrunteled Brits Thread was not the only thread to be moved from TOYS to SITINGS.
I hope you find this answer satisfactory. At this point in time, we want to try to keep the regional threads in the sitings forum. Perhaps a forum name change is in order, from sitings to something else, but please know we are considering different options and ideas and this seemed the best fit for the site at present.
Thanks for your support to Seibertron's community. The Disgrunteled Brits Thread as well as all of our British Posters are a large, proud and important part of Seibertron's History, and we hope future. Please understand, we are not trying in any way to neglect or alienate you.

All in all, I belive that this answers the majority of our questions, and for me at least, makes us feel better about the whole situation. And I know that our plight is in good hands Aargh!

Sounds fair enough to me,
have to say that it is a bit easier to find the good ship ODB now,
She's always on page one, near the top (where she belongs)
Thanks for taking the time to sort this OF.

Garr, I can't argue with that. The lubber makes a sound arguement.
Well, I still think we should have our own forum
But for now, I guess this will do.
Once the movie hype finally dies down, most of the other sightings threads will die off, and eventually it'll be us and two or three veteran threads left. In which case, we can just pillage those other threads, steal their women and claim this forum as our own!
Arrr!

Yarr...sound fair to me, would appreciate a possible forum name change to something a little more exiting (like the Global TF Forum) and better navigation would be perfect, we just need to advertise the ODB in other threads, in our sigs or avatars etc, i already had one pm asking me what the ODB was, plus the point about us staying at the top of the forum has its merits also...
good to see the folks at Seibertron appreciate the good ship ODB...YARRRRR!!!!
PS: hey Master Blaster, any chance of a big blank version of your avatar, so that those of us that want to can edit our own?
This kinda goes with what i was saying about advertising ODB more

I'm content with that, as long as theres a shortcut its all fine by me
FINALLY picked up alternator swindle at Tesco's a few days back and I'm really liking the Jeep wrangler mould. A cool little feature o fthe swindle mold is that you can take the bull bars off lol so its basically the hund mold but yellow and with bigger wheels.
all the movie toys are gone in my area now, well apart from wreckage and loads of cyberslammers and realgears. went to Argos to look for the prime/bumblebee 2pack and its out of stock.
I havn't bought a single figure from the movie line but because this was the first movie to come out since 1986 I wanted to get 1 movie fig to commemorate it. but I can't decide which to get. Leader Prime is a little to expensive fore me but is he the most iconic figure from the movie? or was it bumblebee? Help me make my mind up guys
oh yea GAARRR, yo ho ho an a bottle o rum!!!

Yarr! Congrats on the job Chugster and thanks te Master Blaster fer the new avatar. I also took the chance to update the eyepatch. It don't look quite so crappy now. Arrr!
So it be the movie hype and all the 'sightings' thread that got us moved. At least we took teh Michiganders with us. Arrrgh! Can't say I blame them, though looking at this forum, nee one be sailing these waters but us and the Michiganders. Good going Frimal. Now we just need to start pillaging the other sigtings threads. They be seriously undermanned, it should be easy. They got us moved, it's only fair.
EDIT: Reading through the rules of this forum, I see we are supposed to keep it on topic of sightings.
So. Um... What kind of job is it Chugster?

I'd like to see em try. They've read this forum before it was moved, and know very well it's where we all meet and chat.
Yarrr, it be pleasin me that all be enjoyin the new avatar spice. I thought it be time for a change.
Octane, I'd spring and get the Op 08 BB two pack. The only hard bit be catchin it in stock. But remain vigilent, and the booty be yours. Just keep checkin every now and then.
I'm so glad I caught hold of Alt Hound when I did. He's really shot up in price nowadays, and is scarce even on ebay!
I like the Alt Swindle, but my strict regime is to only buy bots if I can help it.

Arrrr, I'll be going to Argos first thing I arive in good ol Bedford on Friday!
"Hi granny, hi granddad, hi uncle and by I'm going to town!"

Best is there are two Argos in Bedford, mening if one is out of stock, the other may be too....

But then there is a TRU, a toymaster and a wooly's and a little woods, (oh wait that kicked the bucket!) so there is plenty of chances to get those two seperet ore singly!
And if nothing helps on my mission to find TF in Bedford, I may still ask mymum if we go on a day trip to MK! Plenty of toys there, oh and I can't wayt to get em comics!
