Now I've found how cool alternators are and am looking to increase my collection without bankrupting myself!

Argos was useful for Wheeljack, Ravage and OP.
Woolworths provided me with Swindle

Anyone know of any good shops that still sell them for reasonable prices (max £20 would be nice) before I have to resort to extortionists on ebay?
Cheers,
Andy

I've got a Battle Ravage (Corvette mold) if you want it, £17 posted. PM me If you're interested.

RP: PM'd - thanks.

BigGrim: Cheers, I have just picked up a new boxed shockblast(wave) from eBay for £15.99 posted - which seemed a reasonable deal to me. If you can please let me know if your Tesco has any silverstreak it would be appreciated - but please dont buy yet... I'd better wait until after payday or missus may kill me!

Cheers,
Andy.

You are gonna cry when you get round to buying the other alts of ebay. The prices range from ok to ridiculous! And then there's times when few to none of the alts we don't already have are on there.

Gonna check out me local Wilkos soon, see what they have in stock.

Bastard. I just found a MIB Superlink Superion Maximus set on ebay, and I'm out of cash after buying my new amp.

 Why oh why does fate conspire against me!?

£25, free p&p as well...

I'll have to try and convince me mom to get it me to put away for christmas...

Please nobody buy it (Not that I think any of you are partial to energon combiners)

Leeds TRU still seems pretty well stocked for Movie stuff - haven't checked out Woolworths in the White Rose centre but that'll probably be similar to the city centre one.

I stuck my head in once and left quickly as the sheer amount of desirable Final Fantasy stuff made me need to walk away before my wife started divorce proceedings. Seen a lot of stuff like the revoltech prime & megs through the window but I'm not going to bother with them. Besides price is the main issue with me, kid on the way and I've got a rampant guitar addiction to feed.

Fair enough. I try to avoid using them myself, but once in a while they'll have something sat on a shelf behind the counter that even the evil bay (no, the OTHER evil Bay :P ) has started running dry on and I'll find myself walking out of there with a much lighter wallet. One day I'll learn not to even go through the door. One day...

Arrgh, that be unfortunate. Some have been reported to have a limited number, others have boatloads and others have the blighters hiding under teh Primuses, so it truly depends on which store ye be going to as to how much stock they be able to handle. Arrr!

Just a head's up for all in the Central London/Hounslow area...we don't have nuffink. One bloke in Forbidden Planet reckons they will get some stuff by the end of the month but it's bound to be overpriced by 2-3 pounds.

I recently emailed Hasbro to see if there was any news on movie figs. Apparently Wave 3 deluxes are 'imminent' (but we knew that about a month ago) and Wave 2 has no planned release date.

Someone has probably mentioned this before but its late and I'm far too lazy to trawl through 150 pages.

Also, according to the nice lady on the customer services phone line, Argos will be getting more Prime/Bee stock in but they don't know when...which isn't too promising really.

Ok, scratch everything I said in my last post, according to another site's forum Bonecrusher & Swindle are out.

And the Planet is selling things at reasonable prices, but that might be the outside London ones.

We still don't have much shop wise here though.

THIS JUST IN...

Optimus Prime was a woman...yes it has been revealed to us today from reliable sources that Optimus Prime was a woman, going by the name of Orion Pax, she was a robot who was forever getting harrassment from decepticons, after an unpleasant event in an alleyway concerning a deception, some energon and a plasma torch, Orion decided she had enough, went to see Alpha Trion and had the operation...and has been fighting decepticons ever since...

Hows that for news?

Leeds one is just as shite. Just picked up the Poundland KO Prime on ebay for £3-4 inc delivery.

Forgot to mention Leeds TK Maxx had the Toyota MR2 road-bot in for £15.00 - it didn't look that great to be honest.

Robo-Chugster - what people don't know and IDW are afraid to publish is that Megatron is actually a butch lesbian with anger issues and a husky "Mariella Frostrup" type voice. The whole war's down to Megs hitting on Orion Pax who was dating Sentinel Prime at the time.

:-x DARGH!!! :-x

I be very disgruntled. Went into TRU after I was told the soundwaves were in stock and the buggers have gone. Nothing. Absolute and complete lack of soundwaves. I asked someone on the floor who went and checked in the back. They had nothing that even sounded like a Soundwave. :-x Either I was fed dodgy intel or someone was really quick on the draw. Now, I'm gonna have to go bezerk with my grenade launcher as I said I would in the other thread!

There were tons of movie guys, leader primes and megs, and other assorted tf crap. The real gears they had were the game guy and the binoculars. THEY WERE NOT THE TWO REAL GEARS I WAS INTERESTED IN! Either the phone or the camera would at least have salvaged the trip somewhat, but nothing. And so, I must go back to my original plan of getting Encore Soundwave from Ravage XK, as I am not going through TRU at £5.50 a return journey for it not to be there.

They also had a TON of reissue red alerts, tracks, prowls and inferno. But no Soundwave. :-x And millions of both versions of 20th Prime.

Interesting thing to note is there was a box on the floor by the tf stuff labelled:

tf movie dlx w 5

It was sealed up so I don't know what was in it, but could it have been deluxe wave 5? Who the hell is in deluxe wave 5 anyhoo?

Learning to drive is less stressful than this. Woosah. Woosah. It aint working. I need to blow stuff up.

Sorry for ranting, but as it's a slow news day, you can all read that instead.

Arrgh!

Insurgent mate,
Dont get stressed about Soundwave, just wait until Red buys one. The very next day they'll be all over the place and half price to boot (unless that only works with Sumpreme size toys).

Arrgh, the only reason I got angry is because this was the first time I left solely on a tf hunt. Usually I'm out and about and just do a detour. Gave up a lie in and most of my morning hoping to get it. It was sighted there on Monday.

Ah well, I've had a drink since then, blown some useless stuff up with me grenade launcher, watched the neighbours cat stalk a pidgeon, and listened to some calming Evanescence songs. Now, I'm calm and realise I overdid the angry Pac Man a bit.

At least the Encore one has a coloured chest door and it's flush.

I think I'll paint Blackout's scorpinok a nice silver at some point.

Grenade launcher?
Please tell me it's a Marui M203 :)

They're great, have one under my JG M4,
Which itself is quote nice (or it was until it decided not to work anymore. Think the gearbox is buggered, need to go to Airsoft Armoury to get it sorted, but have spent all my spare cash on plastic crack and food. stupid food.)

It's the BGA 30mm Automatic. Grenades aint huge, but great for mindless destruction.

But this is a grenade launcher that would be handy in a tight spot.

BTW, anyone looking for a new car, try here. I found it a few years ago doing a Business A level project.
