Actually the original is too big for the car. He barely used to fit. His neck actually "transforms" so that he can fit. The new one fits just fine without having to adjust his neck.

I actually meant standing next to Bee, in alt or robor mode, original Sam was too short. I've never had trouble getting him to sit inside.

Gotcha. Well, that's one the Indiana Jones 3.75" Shia figure is for!

Marshall Dusty, we're planning on mainly the Western or Northwest Suburbs but I suspect we'll play anywhere we can. I already commute to Vernon Hills from Rockford for practice so a little further is not a biggie. It's gonna suck though driving back at 4AM after a show...LOL I'll keep everyone in the loop. Since it's an 80's tribute band I plan on wearing my Optimus Prime club shirt on stage...how much more 80's can you get than G1 Prime?

Actually when you see this thing, you'll want to replace the original Voyager Prime. I used to really like that mold until tonight. I still like the Voyager Optimus Prime from the first movie but it's almost like it's a different Prime from a different series altogether now.

I'm cropping all of the photos for the new Voyager Optimus Prime now.

Same here, I need that Prime so much. I'm debating ordering it online but I'd rather save a few bucks and find it in store.

Plus when I order stuff online, I have to ship it to work (which I try to limit) because when I try to deliver it to my home, they just have the postman leave the "We missed you notice" and tell me to go to the post office to pick it up. And I've has a couple people around wait at my home for the packages and they actually saw on seperate occasions the post man walk up with no package and place that notice in the mailbox already filled out!!

Do you live in an apartment or a house? Either way, you can probably leave a note for the postman on your mailbox that says "please leave packages for JBPrime". I'd also recommend that you ask your local post office or just ask the mailman leaving your mail. I'm sure they'll start leaving them for you once you ask.

I live in an apartment, the note idea is pretty good, but when they are leaving a notice without even having the package, I'm not sure how much I can trust that I'd still get it.

If the note doesn't work and/or a direct discussion with your regular mailman, then I would go down to the post office and complain.

I used to have the same problem at my apartment in Wrigleyville until i said something. Then they started leaving all of my packages for me which was great.

Thanks to omegaprime I was able to get the voyager Prime yesterday from the Romeoville Walmart, and for only $19.99. At first I was going to replace my movie 1 voyager Prime with this guy, but now I'm not so sure. He is leaps and bound more accurate than backpack Prime, but he just seems so small, when they are side by side. Oh well I'll figure something out.

Getting married on September 4th. Trying to find a limo (or Party bus, stretch hummer, etc) company to transport us around for our pictures for a few hours on the day of our wedding. We found a place that has some nice stuff but they want $175 to $250 an hour plus 20% gratuity for an 18 and 29 person vehicle respectively. Do any of you know of anyone around here that I should check out? I'm up on the northwest side by O'Hare.

Algonquin Target finally did it's reset today, and is fully stocked. No signs of Wave 2 Voyagers, but they did have a bunch of HA Jazz.

Algonquin Walmart didn't have anything new yet, other than Legends. I was surprised to find one each of the Ultras Hardhead and Powerglide exclusives, sadly at full price.

Algonquin TRU has restocked their shelves, and now has the new Scouts (Brimstone, Hubcap, etc). Nothing new though. I can't wait to find Animated Rodimus & Ironhide, along with MP Grimlock!

EDIT: Aw crap, I didn't know Grimlock had been spotted in the US! I would have made a trip over to Crystal Lake TRU otherwise!

thanks for the congrats about getting married guys. really excited and really stressed out about it at the same time. i just want it to be a perfect day for my fiancee. things are coming together nicely. we booked our limo today. time for more ebay stuff to pay for that!

On a sightings note, I grabbed the last PCC Mudslinger and Double Clutch tonight at the Mt Prospect Walmart. I was there when they were putting out all of the new toys around 10:30pm. Nothing new that you can't find at other stores other than the new PCCs which I grabbed. I did NOT see the wave 2 Voyagers here.
