That's a good point. As an American, I tend to forget that there are other countries.
However, I'm sure there are toys that shelf warm overseas or accross the border, and wouldn't that balance out if we have a couple different countries?

Good, that sounds cool too! I must admit I'm a sucker for a good paintjob- RID Side Burn is probably one of the nicest painted figures in my collection, though sadly his paint has not held up well over time, especially his chrome (he was my first Transformer ever, which I got when I was but 4 years old). Still, that sparkly blue paint and red chrome is just delicious.

He is absolutely gorgeous. Aother insane paintjo is RID JRX. He's all clear in Japan because they wanted clear windows. Which means everything else had to be painted. That RID Line was amazing in terms of deco, defintiely an all time best.

Toxitron comes to mind, for example. Something so left field that you have to take a step back and think "well well well".

I'd say it'd be a toss-up between Menasor and Defensor. Also, this would be a list Stalker would actually fit into!

AHA! You know what the best part is? Stalker cannot be in this list because he is the original use of the mold. This is for top 5 insane Redecos, so only the redecos of Stalker can be on the list.

Just makign sure Amelie, when you say Toxiton, you are referring to the redeco of Lazer Prime right? Not animated prime?

Dont worry, the site was experiencing some difficulties but during this time, everything is being moved to a different server so that things should run more smoothly in the weeks/months/years to come

Wait it wasnt released? Well then I cant include it on the list. It would fit more in a list of Top Toys never released or something along those lines. Its just that i would be opening a can of worms. Are there any other redecos you find insane that id get released? Like Prime Dead End?

A Deadend homage, using the name of another G1 character, whilst still retaining the mold of Armada Sideswipe - who in turn was a homage to Nightbeat, whilst the actual Armada Sidewipe homage was called Wheeljack and to add to this entire mess - Treadshot's Minicon companion is still called Nightbeat, the same as his Armada counter-part.

:edit: Not forgetting the eyesore that is Actionmaster Thundercracker.
