Robot Replicas in Australia

Found the first wave (Megatron, Bumblebee, Barricade) at Toys R Us (Australia). They're $29.99 each. Very pricey, considering the quality and size of these things!

:-?

Yeah, I was excited about these, but they don't look that great up close... Sculpting is off, colours are not movie accurate, and they're too small!

And yes... Couldn't believe the price - I was expecting much less. Don't know if they'll show up in Kmart or not. Might be a TRU exclusive in Australia perhaps?!

Well they weren't in their toy sale catalogue, so I assume that if they do reach Kmart/Big W/Target, then they will probably be sometime in early August or something, and probably be around $30-$35 there too.

Really thought they would be around the $20 mark, seeing how they dont transform, but I guess they are aimed at an older audience, thus Hasbro AU feels safe in trying to get as much profit as possible.

Saw them at Penrith TRU last night, they actually look somewhat decent in person. Not worth the $30 still, but I can see a few people picking them up.

Barricade looks slightly off, not 100% sure on why though.

Here's some pics...

They're a little smaller than deluxe class figs (maybe 'Protoform' size?) but they don't transform!
