Alternators Still Alive? Rodimus?!

I am pleased to see so much love for the Alternator line. I am afraid that it won't make a return appearance post movie, but with support like this...
Although, I am a sucker for Alts. and would most likely buy any repaint that comes out, they are such great toys and pose so well.

sport
I hope he will be a sport and show up more then once at retail, the pipes thing is ridiculous, if you do not like it go buy a Swerve and take his pipes.
This is very nice considering I have recently got back into buying Alts. Luckily I have found the Wal-Mart set once, I am however looking back on all the times I could have got the Alts, I just saw once in the stores.
This looks very nice, maybe if this is a large scale production, he will be repacked with the Mirage, Optimus, Meister mix, not the Ricochet and Tracks mix.
And as far as protos go, I do not ever remember seeing a proto of Rumble, I remember the drawing from ages ago that made him look more "lean" and I remember a Ravage proto( or was it the final product) but not Rumble.

Well, I lucked out at getting an Alt. Nemesis Prime on eBay for decent price right after SDCC last year. If this is the case with Alt. Rodimus, I hope my luck holds out!

SDCC nemesis prime was also marked hasbro canada, and wasnt bi or trilingual thats why i think this is sdcc exclusive
I'm not sure if this is going to be an exclusive. I've just gone through quite a few of my alternators boxes and it seems that a fair amount of them say Hasbro Canada. In fact, my boxed Magnus/Skywarp set also says Hasbro Canada. So, maybe it's a distribution thing.

I never saw him in stores either and I have seen every alt in stores except him, jaguar ravage and rumble. Hence they are the only alts I am missing. My wife got me Nemesis prime for our 1st wedding anniversary

But honestly I really want this line to continue. It is by far my favorite line. And if the pics of Alt. Rodimus are true then I will definately get my hands on him some how.

The TF movie is going to draw in a lot of fans (new and old). Perhaps they will breathe new life into the Alternators.

Ramhorn
Steeljaw
Rumble:
Eject
Frenzy
Rewind
Sideswipe:

Skids:

Soundwave
Twincast

Tailgate
Just to name a few, I wouldn't expect to see all of them but those are just a few that could work without remolds.
I could see Optimus as Ironhide, myself, though a Magnus repaint would not surprise me.

I so hope you're right.
I'd love for them to reissue the Alternators, as most of them them never bothered showing up over here in Bonnie ol England.
Great looking figure. I'm not too bothered about the arm gun stacks.
BTB, Alternators left for me the get:
Skids
Tracks
Meister
Sideswipe
Prowl
Optimus Prime
Mirage
This particular Hot Rod
And oh, why not, Smokescreen- I like the mould quite a bit after all...
So yeah, I have a long way to go. £180 minimum; as in they are all fairly priced at £20 each, which I seriously doubt. Not to mention if I buy them online, the packaging could be the end of me.
There really was no reason not to sell the entire line in England. I am pretty sure everyone has seen American or Japanese cars before.
If they still hold this sentiment, we'll probably never see Barricade.

No offence but why a comic-con exclusive, and not a retail release?
I would much prefer a retail release even if exclusive through one outlet. At least the prices won't be inflated.

Secondly, perhaps this is the missing #25 alt I've heard people mention. You know, the numbering for Ravage/Rumble go 24, 26 with no mention of 25. Perhaps the figure was held up for some reason and they have only now been able to get the go ahead for it. Just a thought.
Or perhaps a cancelled alt that never made it into production stage.

I agree all this speculation is driving me insane with curiosity..!!!!

My one wish is that it actually gets released publicly and kicks off the new Alternators line, post movie edition..

And Actually my second on that wish list would be an addition of the pipes and the visor to the final production of that figure..we shall see...in time..
My hope is that the next figure done in the alternators line is the unflinching and all around badass Redneck, Ironhide!! in classic red colors, and in a truck of some sorts, maybe a smaller pickup, or sport pickup truck with a short bed since prime is a large full sized truck..add that to the list...

QFT!!!
I demand Ironhide returns as a big-ass pickup, Alternator style!

Or perhaps the Black Convoy (BT-17) was counted as both BT-17 and Alt-25. He was packaged in a bubble packaging anyway.
I still think this is fake, unless it shows up on shelves, that is.
