Shockwave’s distinctive “face” then disappeared from the wall screen.

Cyclonus had watched the brief and formal interaction between the two members of Megatron’s inner circle with only a passing interest. He was more interested in the results that Megatron’s latest strategy would bring to fruition over the internal posturing of two of the Decepticons most influential figures.

“As charming as ever,” Cyclonus commented dryly after Shockwave’s face had disappeared from the wall panel.

“As charming as ever.”

”Truly.” Scorponok scoffed, turning away from the wall screen. Were it not for Shockwave being the foremost expert on several fields of scientific research on Cybertron, Scorponok would have had far less patience for dealing with the walking computer. Long gone or not. He’d never trust Shockwave.

”Shockwave serves only logic – his own.” the high commander added, ”Keep an optic on him at all times.”

Not that Cyclonus had needed such reminder. Yet, sometimes one was a slave to his own habits. ”Perhaps we should pay him a surprise visit. The space bridge won’t stay a secret much longer anyway but it will certainly hasten the deployment of this operation.”
