Poor Jazz got killed by MEgs but it deserve him right for having a foul mouth. Next time avoid the internet. The allspark could make all mechs alive ..hmm...What was that thing that Prime took out from MEgs and why did they thrown him into the ocean for? They should have thrown him into the arctic or a geyser or smelter or a volcano. Starscream lives ... doesn't the autobots know that...not good thing.. Starscream is dangerous and can lead despite what megs thinks. Not a decepticon to can be left alone, not even megs does that? Prime and Megs brothers?? I don't think brothers in arms or in Christ fits this unless they consider all Cybertronians brothers and sisters? Does Starscream know that MEgs and Prime are brothers, I heard screamy is MEgs's son somewhere. Let's hop not. Earth a haven for autobots? Also a haven for decepticons? Starscream would invite them over and don't the autobots know that Starscream is the leader of the seekers. Dirge,Ramjet, Thrush thundercracker, skywarp please come in.

They tried to make Jazz cool, but he turned out rather annoying.
The allspark could make all mechs alive ..hmm...What was that thing that Prime took out from MEgs and why did they thrown him into the ocean for?
Prime took what was left of Megatron's Spark to make sure the military doesn't try anything stupid with him I suppose.
They threw all the "dead" Decepticons in the Marianas Trench because it was the deepest and coldest place on earth. Also, the pressure down there is so strong, it will probably crush what is left of their bodies, or at the very least, keep them from moving if ever one was not completely dead. It makes for a perfect prison and grave.
Starscream lives ... doesn't the autobots know that...not good thing.. Starscream is dangerous and can lead despite what megs thinks. Not a decepticon to can be left alone, not even megs does that?
Starscream is true to his character in the movie. He's a coward. He knew that Megatron was going to lose, and rather than getting killed, he ran-FLEW away as fast as he could. You can bet you'll see him again in the sequel. He lives to fight another day. They know he escaped. But Autobots are not the kind of creatures that will hunt down and destroy. They'll deal with him when/if he should return.
Prime and Megs brothers?? I don't think brothers in arms or in Christ fits this unless they consider all Cybertronians brothers and sisters? Christ has nothing to do with it. Similar cars are often referred to as "Sisters". Even ships of the same design (class) are called "Sister Ships". "Brother" does not have to mean by blood. "Brothers in arms" are people in the same unit who fight together. They are not related, but are very close in friendship. In Prime's case, perhaps his friendship with Megatron went sour because Megatron went all evil on him.
We'll see about the rest in the next movie(s).

Did it bother anyone else when Ironhide made that crack about killing the humans/parents? The real Ironhide would never say that. A cheap laugh but not true to the original character.

Unless it was Chip Chase and he wouldn't shut up during a fight. Ah, Dr. Smoov references. I think that works as an update for Ironhide, though. He just really really likes his guns.

Good thing he's not the original character then isn't it!
He shares a similarity in Name only. So thats about that i'm afraid. He's not the Ironhide you are thinking of. You are comparing apples and oranges here.

Nice. Thank you. That Jazz was disgraceful and stupid.
why did they thrown him into the ocean for? They should have thrown him into the arctic or a geyser or smelter or a volcano.
A volcano would have been way better, yes.
Prime and Megs brothers?? I don't think brothers in arms or in Christ fits this unless they consider all Cybertronians brothers and sisters?
It's a metaphorical brother. Prime called him "my brother" because he was taking the moral high ground and extending his hand even as he fought. It was a nice touch.
Oh, and I would laugh my ass off if the TF's, even the Decepticons, turned out to be devout Christians. Not even robot Jesus. Actual Jehoshua of Nazareth human Jesus.
But we all know from Family Guy that Optimus Prime is a Jew already.

I heard screamy is MEgs's son somewhere. Let's hop not.
I might just abandon TF's forever if that's the case. I don't think that's the case. Whoever told you that is way wrong.
Starscream is the leader of the seekers. Dirge,Ramjet, Thrush thundercracker, skywarp
They should have been in the movie. They're all the same make and model it would have been so easy. What a waste.
Maybe they'll be in the sequel. I really want to see fleet of Seekers swooping down on the city.
Buy my RiD toys! They're awesome, I promise!!!!

Actually, in the leaked script they are confirmed as being actual brothers. It was supposed to be an ooh and aah plot twist. Just didn't come across as one.

Vector, you have to remember...as it was stated, this is an entirely new continuity for TFs, plus it's more realistic. Why? Because, how in the world would Ironhide, or any of the Autobots for that matter, know anything about the humans?
You, like many others are still basing your opinion of these characters on their G1 counterparts. You never realized it back then (too young like we all were) and as we grew up we just didn't give a damn, but the more you look at it, G1 was too convenient. Automatically, the Autobots knew the ins and outs, etc. Of course we ate it up like candy, they were the good guys.
These Autobots are still the good guys, but they're realistic and have no idea what these weird aliens have in store for them. Ironhide's also a very old man who's seen too much battle (with a bad hip mind you), so he truly doesn't know what to expect, except the worst. Of course, he and the others as the film progresses...learns that the humans in general actually are kind and generous as a people and Prime's right...they are worth saving and fighting for.
It was not only a funny clip, it was realistic. I think people forget that this film, while outlandish and it knows it, was still striving for some reality, make them at least tangible if nothing else.
And that, I'd say, they've accomplished and then some.

like it was said in another thread, the true Ironhide was bada$$ without saying killing remarks. And no, this ironhide was OK but they should've stuck with the texas/southern accent, that would've pleased as many fans as having Peter Cullen did.
Killing Bumblebee? The heart of the Autobots? You seriously need your diodes checked by Perceptor.
And even if Chip were being super-annoying/talking during a battle- Ironhide would just pick his whole wheelchair up and tell him "shut up!!"

autobot032 --I see your point, but that's really not something any Autobot would say - if the autobots are the good guys. It was funny, but they could've wrote that in a different way, he should've said "take them out" or "smack them" and it still would've been funny. "Kill" is a strong word. That's like Thing saying "Can I kill that guy because he threw a tomato at me?" to Reed Richards.

a very interesting scene which totally ran out of context, the scene where bumblebee peeing on one of the snarky FBI agents. then prime acts like a father figure, "bad bumblebee, stop lubricating yourself." that's
and stupid... i think that scence should really be in the cutting room, cuz that scene really tones down seriouslness of the film. i can accept occasional comedy moments, but robotic urinating, did i saw that one on american pie 2. except the peeing part was replaced by a human. those are really cheap laughs. and masterbation remark also borrowed from american pie.

It wasn't a kids movie anyway. Over here in NZ, it got an M rating, meaning for Mature Audiences over 16.IN the US, as far as I know, it got a PG-13, which is a similar rating.

American pie isnt the only movie that ever mentioned masterbation or peeing on someone. And in the end I was never really offended by the masterbation joke because if you think about it. Teenage boy + locked in a room acting a little wierd can sometimes lead a parent to onder if its time for "the talk". Thats all it was, nothing to make a big deal about.

I liked both the movie Ironhide and the G1 Ironhide. He's obviously pretty much the big guns in the movie, not the brains or the heart of the outfit. But they were all different. Ratchet didn't baby Bumblebee or the others (I remember him babying BB in the cartoon a few times) and he seemed like an old fatherly type, like the old-timey family physician with the black bag...ok, nevermind on that one, but I think it's ok for some changes. They kept the BASIC personalities mostly intact, and I'm happy with that.
